I guess there are still buyers taking on stock here as I'm sure the MMs don't hold much but as Bondy has pointed out this doesn't mean anything and the price can still keep on dropping. I don't understand why it went up considerably this morning only to come crashing back down. Was it an example of the much referred to, "dead cat bounce"?

Bigger volume of trading today. Is that because of folks dumping or accumulating? I just hope his lordship can bring us some price enhancing news while there's still some value left or if there isn't any we need to hear that too.
It's time for Bond to come clean and tell us what's going on. I want to know if AlkaMem is going to be market ready this year and if not, is it mired in ongoing R&D that could take years? That's the only question I want answered as the company's success depends on it in my view.

It touched +7% this morning now down 4% so an 11% drop! Nice way to end the week! Maybe haggis can put a positive spin on it!

Unfortunately Pandy there are a number of posters who will never accept that the company isn't delivering but to any sane person that is obvious. Just look at the pathetic shareprice.
If they can sell their fuel cells in sufficient volume, this can take off but with Bond's track record the market is now having serious doubts about that ever happening. It's all very disappointing given how he deliberately built up investors' expectations only for them to be dashed when said expectations never materialised. I don't really understand how he has got away with it tbh.

This is going south again after a promising start. Talk of £10 a share is a fantasy I'm afraid. Bond is driving this into the ground with his aloof attitude towards shareholders and the wider market. If there isn't some good news along soon, god only knows where this is headed. Day after day it just goes down with the very odd exception just to keep punters guessing. This time it'll be different I keep thinking. It never is!

You come across as a genuine guy Seg so I hope AFC do succeed so that you and all of us here can enjoy some financial reward. I think we all deserve it after so much pain, particularly recently. In the meantime I guess we'll just have to keep working for a living! I've known and worked with a few guys from the North East over the years. All good people.

I work in security Seg. Been off for a bit due to ill health but BTW now so I'll be posting less at least during the day. (I can hear the cheering from here!) I'd hoped that AFC would help me get to an earlier retirement but alas not! Maybe next year if they ever get round to actually selling some fuel cells!

Some are now saying the 80p SP was never realistic. I didn't read anyone saying so at the time and when comparing the MC of AFC when at 80p, to ITM and CWR, AFC seemed under valued. Even now their MCs are way more than AFC achieved at its peak. Also AFC didn't issue any speeding tickets so they were obviously comfortable with the £500 million plus MC. (as was haggis lol)
The main reason it's fallen back is that it hasn't lived up to expectations due to delay and dither on commercial delivery. In fact I'd argue that AFC has more potential to grow in value than the other 2 afore mentioned companies as its current MC is so low in comparative terms. All it needs to kick start that re-rate are sales pure and simple and if achieved the SP could easily reach 80p in double quick time particularly if said sales signalled the beginning of a transition to profitability. It's not complicated.

Alt, the SP was in the 70s just over a year ago. It's now in the 20s. A poor performance by anyone's standard. Fair point about the leech. A school boy error on my part. BTW are you happy with his remuneration package given the dire SP?

I'm not knocking you Klunk. Fair play for discovering the relevant video section and I'm sure it's appreciated by other posters, it's just that I feel the company should have more information in the public domain so investors have it to hand rather than having to search for it.

Is that what shareholders have to do here to try to get some information about the company i.e. pause videos to look for some obscure clue that things are progressing. The situation here is becoming dire meanwhile the CEO is enriching himself at the company's expense. The guy's a leach and should be sent on his way as he has presided over the almost complete destruction in value of the company he's supposed to be developing. It's lost almost two thirds of its value and his pay has nearly tripled. We're being mugged off by this guy, 100%!

Heading towards June and still nothing on CTDA not to mention AIHL. One needs the patience of a saint here. In the meantime the SP is just a play thing for the wider market. Surely some news has got to break soon!

Nasdaq bombing and Tradegate down below .30 Euro! Tomorrow will be another miserable day unless Bond announces news of sales lol.

I think we all know the likelihood of that happening lie somewhere between no chance and slim and Slim's out of town! What a poor investment this has turned into, meanwhile the CEO has become a millionaire at the expense of the company's cash reserves and shareholders. I think we've been had here as it's looking like they don't have a commercially viable product and if they don't perfect the solid cell this year, ABB could walk away. Wouldn't be surprised to see Bond moving on having failed miserably to deliver anything of note despite years of promises. At least he'll walk away a rich man unlike the vast majority of mugged shareholders. I've now accepted that I've lost my investment here painful as that is but I'll hold anyway in the remote possibility that there's a miracle and it turns around at some point . In any case my investment is not worth a lot anymore so not that much to lose from here. And to think I nearly sold them all at 63p for a small loss. Hindsight!

I think you'll find that the CEO is driving the SP down all on his own Brett without any help needed from posters on here. I think you, Cheek and the like need to wake up and smell the coffee! Ask yourself why Bond is taking so much money out of AFC's finite cash reserves for his personal enrichment before the company has tasted commercial success. No serious shareholder could be happy with that. In fact it's outrageous!

I see Tradegate is up 5%! Can we carry the gain over to LSE today. I doubt it but let's hope so.

Putin and inflation haven't prevented other hydrogen stocks going up today. Odd that!

Dear Mr. Gary Bullard

As a significant shareholder in AFC energy I have become increasingly concerned about comments made by the CEO, Adam Bond in different forums during the course of 2021 most notably in the Half Yearly report where he enthused about multiple orders for our fuel cells before the calender year end of 2021, none of which actually materialised save for the potential for 2 future orders based on the as yet unproven "solid cell" technology.

I am particularly disappointed in this outcome as Adam's enthusiastic comments about imminent commercial success encouraged me to invest more capital in the company. Capital that I have now lost a significant percentage of due to the considerable reduction in the shareprice since Adam made his comments. I suspect this SP reduction is due at least in part, to the fact that Adam's predictions of imminent contracts proved to be misplaced. In any case I would appreciate an assurance from you as Chairman that this kind of loose talk and unrealistic predictions will cease in future.

It's quite disconcerting as an investor to feel that the company one is invested in is not supplying reliable information into the public domain. After all it's this information that investors use to make hopefully informed decisions as to their investment strategy for a given company, so it has to be reliable. If it's not accurate this clearly puts would be investors at a disadvantage.

I hope you take my concerns on board and make every effort to avoid such situations in the future.

They don't return emails Alt and I believe they read this board so hopefully reiterating the point regularly will get the message through. That's why it would be good if all posters demanded answers instead of acting like there's nothing to see here as a large number do.
Anyway I noticed from some of your posts over the weekend that you've done an about face and become a deramper. I guess you've been trading this all along just like haggis and aim.

It's remarkable how any true holder is not apoplectic at the state of play here. Don't forget it's the shareholders who own the company and I believe the Chairman should put out a statement explaining why the CEO repeatedly makes false predictions about the likelihood of future commercial activity. Surely the BOD must know that Bond's credibility is shot to pieces and as a result his continued presence is now hindering the company's progress.
