45.35 % of shares are not in public hands. Chris Gleeson 21/12/2009 Purchase 29426608@2.05 603245 but I think the over riding factor is the sentiment of buying which is probably the greatest guage for aim stocks
and many thanks
which is something that I have not really been into. They look to have done a dilution in early december to raise a fair amount of money, 9.6mil. but this doesn't explain the buying. You will see that on GKP but not a 2p company!!
I threw 1500 in to get going as it seems a hell of a lot of buying with not a lots of SP activity, someone must know something. I will do a bit as well and perhaps we can meet in the middle and try to get the angle
lots of buys today, are we expecting news>?
only the fact that there have been 43 million trades today, some very strong buying and no posts on here. one coming under the radar I would think
buys going on here, with no chat!!! is there something going on that is being kept quiet?
It is very good, they also have better than expected results coming which is clearly advertised on their website
This SP is ticking up prior to news, something in the water I believe!!!
TAKEN FROM THEIR COMPANY WEBSITE Scott Wilson Group plc (“Scott Wilson” or “the Group”), the international design and engineering consultancy for the built and natural environments, today issues a pre-close statement prior to the announcement of the Group’s Interim Results for the 26 weeks ending 1 November 2009, due to be announced on 15 December 2009. The Group’s proven ability to provide integrated services globally continues to see Scott Wilson achieve significant success across a broad range of major opportunities. In addition, we are benefiting from our new management structure in maximising the Group’s involvement in the higher growth market sectors identified in our business plan. This is demonstrated by a number of recently reported project wins including major design packages for Crossrail, the Hong Kong MTR, the Mersey Tidal Barrage Study and more recently the £8 million Odra River Basin Flood Study in Poland. There have also been notable successes in securing major road and rail work in Serbia, Mozambique and India. During the first half of the year the financial performance of our Joint Ventures has been better than initially foreseen. This largely reflects the Group’s prudent approach to profit recognition and, although final settlements are yet to be agreed, the Group’s share of the profits from the Joint Ventures at the half year is now expected to be at least £2m. The Board anticipates r
This is going to seem like a big ramp, but I think Scott Wilson will fly next week, they have secured contracts in the last 6 months, and they will continue to do so. Great great company, held down by the Eng Sector which has suffered.
Interesting times, an RNS regarding West Africa `diamonds. Not sure if African Aura PLC is AAAM, assume so. Below is a part of the RNS, no great wonder that all the directors are buying shares at the moment, looks like there could be some good stuff on the horizon. Following press speculation the Directors of West African Diamonds (WAD) the AIM listed diamond producer wish to announce that Heads of Terms have been signed to acquire Stellar Diamonds Limited, a privately held West African diamond producer, whose principal shareholder is African Aura plc (the "Acquisition"). I got the RNS info from Investegate. have a look if you think its relevant
Merger tomorrow, where do you get your news
Merger now planned around 13th Oct. I spoke to MANA's public affairs this morning. They have agreed to put me on the mailing list for news (no biggy) but they said that the merger is very much still on and I think its just crossing the T's & dotting the I's. I personally think it wasa very strong RNS.
merger RNS was interesting, I can't understand why we are not getting an influx of buys and a steady rise in the SP, anyone care to shed some light on reasons why as they are quoting 17p at merger and then rising with the asset bank which will be quite substantial
RNS on friday afternoon, I was expecting a better start, any L2 out there
I think 26p is achieveable but it depends on the prospective buyers and what they are prepared to pay, looking at the last 6 RNS's, they are really on track and have a sustainable future even if they decide not to sell the company. The contract worldwide is a real coo and should help with any offers coming in. Like always, we need 2 or 3 companies all with an ongoing interest and then I personally think we could see in excess of 30p looking at the company gearing, assets et al
