Any ideas why the rise apart from that big buy at the end?

I see there have been a couple of braker ratings and I keep getting google alerts about affinity partnerships in the US. Anyone else got insight?

Are the recent buys not likely to come from major investor Harpin....with issue of stock holding dropped below 4% so it was topped up to cross back over the reporting margin. It's just a thought. But it begs the question what the secret of a 4% holding means.

£4 is that a prediction? If so why?

This is the sort of stuff SIS should be doing , as I have said before....get the stuff circulated round grass routes sports too....yes I know Paris Dakar Rally is not grass roots but you know what I mean. I was in Sainsburys the other day , what a meager selection of SIS products they had compared with top to bottom displays of protein powders and slimfasts.....come SIS get those products everywhere into our very psyche ....build the brand not just through cyclists there are loads of endurance sports out there...

So how many of the big sports names have a sports nutrition branch ? Anyone know if Nike or Adidas or any of the other big names do anything like SIS? Would a great brand like this with some top athletes representing not make a fantastic addition to the Nike brand?? What is the SIS exposure in the US like?

Just an observation but the purchases outside the NMS are at a premium to the quoted price...and they are not hugely out of NMS which may suggest a stock shortage with the MM's. Whereas the sells are at a premium to the quote suggesting a desire to buy stock up. Shortage of stock usually = price rise Who knows...

Well I agree , lets face it USA are unlikely to commit financial and political suicide yet so it should creep back up and the continued affinity partnerships being set up will drive progress through a crisis I hope.

If once our HNWI has acquired their large stake in this case over 1 m shares they will struggle to offload them in a hurry should it go bad. So I think the situation is the HNWI has finished their play for stock and will now sit on it until a suitable time to sell comes around....this could be 6 months , a year 2 years who knows but I also bet they will be involved in pushing the company to it's own limits and getting them to perform in every sector they can to maximise a return - that may take some time.

I think the one big inestor has clouded your vision...since the last RNS on 30.8.13 there has been plenty of trade but no more notifications....which should lead us to conclude that investor has achieed the holding they hoped for or has otherwise stopped. It does not mean lots of smaller fish have not joined in the feeding. But surely event for a HNWI they will have a limit of risk as to what they are prepared to expose themseles to...SIS does not have a majority of the market in sales even in the UK let alone a foothold in the USA yet. There are plenty of alternative recovery foods and suppliments out there vying for the top spot event without olympians backing up their product. I think we need a steady hand here and wait for the news on sales and product placement....pop outside to your supliments shops and sports centres and see whats on the shelves, I have not yet found an SIS stockist but I admit they have a great brand it just isn't everywhere. Plus Olympians are great to have on board but they will account for a fraction of sales, you need to sell to the masses too don't let them feel excluded from improving their performance.

Any ideas , still no great volume though...

that it is Harpin buying this stock? Maybe it is another HNWI , he surely cannot be the only one out there with surplus cash to spend. Is it in the nature of investors to miss an opportunity...maybe we have one or more big fish more buying up chunks of tasty stock. If Harpin is taking adice or has quality knowledge he wont be alone out there. Lets hope we have more of the same

Note directors buys (presumably exercising options) ...these are at a 30p premium to the current share price. I would expect that a motivated team would be making some efforts to do something about that. Or is there a bigger plan which I don't understand?

Interesting article in press by a midlands based newspaper interviewing Jonanthan King at HSV puts a good posiitve spin on the last 2 years trading look it up I think the paper was the Express and Star

of course I would say this...just been looking at the directors dealings listed on the site...but oer the period coered on here and some very brief calcs looks like there have been purchases totalling 1.3m shares by directors at a mean of 191p and sales totalling 580,000 (I am not counting the one sale of 16m shares ) at a mean of 246p, this does not include all the options granted to directors...which leads me to the conclusion that the board are gradually acquiring stock rather than lessening the load. and yet the performance is all over the place. If the board hang on to stock so do I. Holding...holding ......holding....oh come on HSV do something. PS who are Espitio Santo Investments?? putting a sell out on HSV
