Absolutely not the same thing. The open offer causes zero dilution to holders that subscribe. Placings invariably cause dilution to PI's as they're not invited to partake. The BoD have explained in the conference call that they don't want PI's to be diluted hence this method of fund raise. To me it's a show of confidence in where the company is heading

So, name beginning with J can post a totally negative comment and that's OK. And name beginning with m can post about a none existent placing, and that's OK. But challenge them on it and you get your post deleted

I doubt they care very much whether you or any other particular PI is taking up the offer. The directors are taking there allocations and some are applying for excess. I suspect the large holders will be slightly better informed than us and will support the offer, and take up any slack necessary

Not so. The open offer is the preferred method of raising sufficient funds to keep us going (hopefully prior to news that will give us better options for ongoing financing). If the offer is not successful the BoD have other plans to obtain the necessary funds. They have stated the aim of the offer is to prevent existing holders being diluted

Let's say the licences have been valued at £50m. So Gerwyn says I'm not throwing all that into INFT just to make those PI's rich. I'll put a quarter of it in and the rest I can farm out as necessary to bring in the funds to develop the sites

I'm looking for a 3-bagger to be honest. If you say it was 50-50 it coming back or losing the lot then we should get at least double. Plus we've been locked out of our funds for over a year, during which time I've grown the rest of my portfolio by more than 150%, so for me I'd like 3 bags for the risk and the wait

I don't read it that way. INFT will own 26% of Transgas. If Transgas is worth say £50m then INFT is worth £13m. Now let's say they double the shares in issue to place with an investor to bring in working capital, we'd be diluted by 50%, but the the company would be worth 5 times as much, so a 2.5 bagger

Not had a chance to delve into it yet ttaa, but my take is that we're getting 26% of Transgas (a bit like a farm-in I suppose). So the other 74% will be owned by whoever ifs financing the operation. In effect yes we're getting heavily diluted and we'll end up with a smaller percentage but of a much bigger entity. Your 1 bag for a £20m MC sounds a bit low to me even with dilution, considering we were only at about £2.5m before suspension

Just guessing though really until we get more meat on the bones

Reabold California - Commencement of VG-4 Well, West Brentwood Licence

Reabold is pleased to announce that Integrity Management Solutions ("IMS") has commenced drilling operations at the VG-4 well within the West Brentwood Licence area, onshore California, in which Reabold owns a 50 per cent. equity interest.

The drilling of VG-4 follows the successful VG-3 well drilled on the West Brentwood field.

The drilling derrick for the well will be erected by IMS and will remain for the duration of the drilling and logging of the well.

Sachin Oza, Co-CEO of Reabold, commented:

"The success of VG-3 was a significant moment for Reabold, providing the company with cash flow from the West Brentwood field. We are delighted that IMS has commenced drilling operations at the follow up well, VG-4, which we hope will prove to be just as successful."

I doubt very much that will sway anyone, and I for one don't really care if others don't take up the offer. I'm sure there's a plan B (and I bet it involves Freepoint). For me there are too many big players involved with MSAR now to see this fall at the final hurdle. Any of our partners could stump up what we're seeking from petty cash. This is the BoD making sure existing holders don't get diluted (in my opinion) so it's a no-brainer for me

I got cut off half way and couldn't re-connect, but from what I heard it sounds encouraging. They admitted they didn't know if they got the strike price right and admitted that they might have gone too low. Still it would seem that the main reason for doing it is to make sure existing holders don't get diluted if they take up the offer. We were told not to expect news before the completion of the fund raise but I got the distinct impression something big is waiting in the wings

And why not? What difference does it make if you take the sulphur out before you burn it or after? As long as it's disposed of responsibly. Now, black soot, that's a different thing altogether. If we can just get the Eco brigade to go after that next, then MSAR has a real opportunity
