Get my vote of confidence. For all those bashing them consider this. Where would the SP be now if Maersk hadn't pulled the plug on the trial and had proceeded to use MSAR in some of their ships? Where would the SP be now if the Saudi electric company weren't in dispute with the oil company, and the trial burn had been successful? The guys that negotiated those deals and project managed them, to almost fruition, are the same guys we still have now. They haven't jumped ship in search of a cushier position, they've reassessed the situation, trimmed the finances and gone in search of a new approach. They should be applauded for doing all they can to turn the company round. They've now raised funds by including existing investors, as was requested of them, and we're still in the game for 9 more months, with influential partners who will profit from a successful joint venture with QFI
Is it a gamble to stay invested in QFI? Of course it is, it's an AIM stock. Are we better positioned now to reap some success or worse off than ever before? I'd say it's probably still 50-50, about the same odds a decent player has when playing blackjack. When I play blackjack though, I double my stake when I've just lost. Even at 50-50 you can beat the house. That's why I've averaged down when I've been able to, and anything over 4.3p will now put me in profit. I'm genuinely sorry for all holders who are sitting on paper losses, but I also genuinely believe that this company still has massive potential, and that it's worth sticking with and supporting for the time being
