Fear and greed14 Jul 2020 09:49
Buying pressure raises the SP. Supply and demand, raise the bid to encourage some sellers, flog those shares on to new buyers
But what creates the buying pressure? Actual news obviously, a contract announcement, director buys etc. But also fear and greed. Fear of missing out of a rising SP, and greed to make the most out of it. Which is why this share can rocket without an actual contract, as we've seen before with the anticipated KSA contract
New investors buying into QFI now, well done for finding a potentially multi-bagging share. Traders looking to make some money out of QFI's volatility, good luck to you as well, but 'buy and hold' may well be the best trading decision you ever made. If Maersk hadn't changed it's policy on compliant fuel this share would be 50p now. If we'd got the last 2 of 7 contracts signed in KSA it would be £1 now
Still all to play for though
