Ahfam
we are probably 1-2 yrs from that kind of deal. in 2022 Nimbus were raising $100- $200m in private equity. Currently Sareum find it difficult to raise a couple of million. Thats not to say things dont move quickly but i think we will be well in to 2024 before any serious talk of being taken out. I dont mind sitting where we do, but i think you are a little over optimistic, but who knows
This week. If puma is right and not saying he is , then we should see a big drop off in price down to 70p or so. However, i think a solid rns about moving to next phase will bump it pass the one-pound mark, but not much more. I think the news will be that it going to next phase. History tells me that there is a drop in price before a rns , so it looks like there is momentum when in reality it is just clawing back what it has lost over the last few months. 3 months ago , price was 140p so that's where it should be now . Ahfam will post i told you so but in reality, it means nothing as it just gets back to where it should be. Its a nice little con to be honest while we wait for the real fireworks which the company has said its in year 2024
If the price goes down, thats surely is the result of a known seller selling. SAR now have some more finance which is what they require. Regardless of what ahfam said the other day this will go below 90p without news, it got there in one day. So suffice to say more drops this week as sell with outweigh buys, unless our small band of merry men and women have a spare 30k each day to buy which i very much doubt. The real story here is , why no news on the trails. It should be done by now so why not at least give a rns to say it is done and waiting for news good or bad. Thats my biggest concern.
Is that the company have not got a clear idea how the trials are going so hedging their bets, they may or may not need the funding. Makes sense to me, although i think it does weaken the belief that the trials are going well as it seems they just dont know yet
Funny- i have been around long enough to know how it works. There are always 3 or 4 champions of a share. They try to bombard you with lots of meaningful information to show to explain why share price will be explode, how mm are playing games and sells are buys. They lambast any contra view by calling people as either traders, non investors or derampers. The urge everyone to listen to their gospel but as soon as you suggest that they should also be criticised if they get it wrong they round on you again for saying that its your money, you take your own choice and dont blame them for ramping a share for 3 years.
classic
Think people like Ahfam are actually the plants in the whole affair? Surely the same logic can be applied to people who over ramp , keep telling a story that does not bear out the facts currently and is very good at talking about 3bn valuations. Could he not be here just to encourage buys when the price drops just to help his MM mates?
far-fetched eh? just as much far fetched as the opposite.
Sareum need to update, then we will know where we are good or bad. We know an update will be coming in due course
No scheckler, just a realist.
you and Afham can talk it up as much as you like and keeping going on about trust the science. If we truly had a society where science won the day all the time then by now, we would not have no environmental problems, there would have been an alternative to fossil fuel years ago, people would be living longer and not being sick so much and there will be zero starvation in the world. the only one time outside war time that the world truly collaborated we managed to prevent 25% of the world population being wiped out by covid and even then, self-interested or dumb politicians ,scientist and business people almost mucked that up. So sometimes its not about trusting the science its about action and in the last 2 years this company has dropped the ball
I disagree.
the board dropped a clanger and are responsible to explain what happened. Moving to Australia has meant extra costs, loss of real management control of the process and has weakened the positivity around the future. The board can say one thing, but i just look at the price. Since the announcement price has gone up 25%, hardly a massive transformation as Ahfam would have everyone to believe. We have no update about SRA737 after many months now, so what the hell is happening with that. Dont let the directors/executive off too lightly. The process has not gone to plan. The next update RNS has to be pretty huge to restore a bit of credibility. The share price is on its downers if you look at the price since consolidation so lets stop kidding ourselve shall we.
On this board, thinking because they have put the hard yards in, they will be collecting someday soon. Newsflash, it does not work like that.
As i have said before.
Sierra did not progress, GSK were not interested (surely if they thought it was a threat, they would have gobbled SRA 737 up and shelved it) and despite the enthusiasm, no update on 1801, although we are expecting it this half of year. I do laugh when someone posts that they would reluctantly sell for 5 quid because it has dragged on. You are saying reluctantly selling when the share price goes up 4005 from here, very confident!
