Cruis, May (bit less so), June and July ha e all been good/strong.
We know January and February hit by wave of COVID for USA.

So overall not bad really.
We would love it better off course.
Survive this year and we should see number of helpful things next year e.g. increase in movies available for release as production been able to get into studios.

Box office figures for North America, France and Germany are tracking at about two-thirds of pre-pandemic levels for the first half of 2022, with a gentler recovery still in Spain and even slower in Italy.

The figures, provided by Comscore, show all five territories are tracking behind the UK and Ireland’s recovery, which was at 80% of 2019 figures for the comparable first six months of 2022.

In the US (excluding Canada), the first six months of 2022 brought in $3.6bn – 67.1% of the $5.4bn from the equivalent period in 2019. That has been boosted by the strong performance of Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick, which contributed $538m in the US and Canada by June 30, and is now up to $637m as the ninth-highest-grossing film of all time in the combined market.

NHC have certainly been rewarded (in part) for their short rather easily this last week.
Buying at the 20p type mark shares they had shorted at c. 55p.

1,313,173 is the direct shareholding of Mooky.
Page 78 of latest results covers directors holdings.

Mooky didn't sell shares, and he does not hold 275m shares.
There is a trust that held c. 29% of the business now holding c. 20%.
This trust is for the children of Mooky and his brother.

I expect it is as simple as the finances are not there nor the need to buy back such significant volumes.
Let's not forget value of holdings will significantly increase more from recovering the business than buying more shares.
There is also the free ticket to more shares by way of LTIP.
