Listen to the interview again and it is pretty clear this is him referencing bank holiday weekend box office numbers. Showing how, with a big movie (Tenet) and free time people have and will return to the cinema in numbers.

I agree to a point Tenet is of more importance than any one film normally would be. Though even this alone will not have immense effect on share price. It is however the marker of things returning to a more regular way of life and back to cinema etc. If a few big states in USA for example were delayed opening or went back into lockdown then Tenet itself would not rescue the share price.

Each film that passes more importantly meaning each week that passes not locked down and revenues accumulating will however add to share price for a while.

IF certain eggs fall into a certain basket then 3 - 5 years from now then YES could well see a new high of £4, £5 or even more. That's all longer term and less visible.
The £1 to £2 range is far more visible and shorter timeframe.
I still cross roads regularly even knowing the numbers of RTA each year. Cinema as far as indoor activities go right now I feel is far far safer than many other indoor things.
We each have our views and tolerance to perceived or otherwise risk.
