It's all Zoro's fault, he is getting out by Friday if no significant move above the 60p he stated end last week/start this week.
He has seemed to disappear also.

UK government covid actions in reality should have very little effect on this share price seeing as 73% of the business is in USA.

Would be fabulous if this happened. Unfortunately we will no doubt continue to have both sides spout exaggerated garbage and name calling :-(

I have not come across any news to see why after relative stability there would be a reasonably significant drop in share price today.
Does anyone have any sensible/well founded reason such a drop could be justified by!?

The article was so bad, not least for the fact they were already selling their SMALL stake in cine at the time of writing.
It doesn't mention imminent, and because one rag prints a story doesn't make it fact.
At peak they only held 5%, that's so far from being imminently ready to takeover it's not worth discussing.

My post was about the big screen being the palace for movies, not home release.
It's rare that there is NOT a perfectly acceptable/good copy available to view online. Not saying it is never the case, just that illegal streaming availability is not a significant differentiator between coma release and home release options.

That was the case maybe 10 years ago.
Howevet, now there are good quality copies of most of not all movies "out there" sometimes BEFORE they hit the cinema in your country.
All of that is a side show to Cineworld and it's share price however.

To be fair cinema releases are available free just as quickly as VOD knock offs.
Projector or not, few have a room as big as cinema screen.

Mulan, good movie or bad deserved to be viewed on the big screen. The place most movies are made for.

I don't see a sale/takeover of the company anytime soon or not so soon. However it does show there is some big funds seeing value in current share price.

When Chinese built a 5% stake many were overly excited. Why then when American Fund ( the country most of Cineworld cinemas are) has built to over 7% holding is there not a whisper?

The previous drop in price is of no concern to those smart enough to bag themselves a 3 week double bagger.
