Gemsbok has been estimated to have Best Estimate unrisked gross prospective resources of 1.1 billion barrels of oil with a probability of success (“POS”) of one in eight. Not a great chance of success and no talk of any imminent farm in so after tomorrow’s rns we could be in for a long spell with no news. Think it could hit 4.5-5p on a spike then retrace hard as everyone bought this to sell on news and although the numbers are good they sent earth shattering imo decent though about what I expected. Will make a nice profit on my 2p buys that’s for sure

And supported by institutional investors, I thought they placing might have held it back but as it was taken mainly by institutional investors it looks like the shares have gone into sticky hands which is great news as this share moves like a rocket under any buying pressure

The main action is of course the full trial readout end of the year however if news is good in the interim data analysis for breast cancer due soon then we could be easily looking at 100p per share imo given the huge potential on offer if the trials work, glad the placing is out of the way now and some institutional investors have again back it, just annoyed I couldn’t get any shares at 12p as they could be worth a fortune this year and all signs are good with the compassionate use program been extended and one Patient who has been on the program for a year showing no disease progression!

Agree historically they have never cared about the share price and have delayed releasing news, which hopefully will not be the case this time but I’m prepared to wait let’s put it that way, how the ceo gets away with taking over £300k a year in salary I will never know truly sickening

Not surprising there isn’t much action as full readout of both trials not due until the end of the year, patient long term hold

Talk of farm ins and fake rumours of farm ins are not helpful that’s all I’m saying mate. I’m happy to wait for news whenever that may be happy to be patient and hold mid term here

Rumour has it means nothing though, there is no rumour in the market that gbp are close to any farm in deals it’s simply misleading to say rumour has it as its incorrect and hoping for a farm out short term will only lead to disappointment imo this is purely a trade on some good CPR figures, farm out agreements take many many months and this will be the second time they have tried to farm out they couldn’t get a partner previously but are going to try give it another go once CPR figures are known, better to go off facts stated in the RNS rather than have unrealistic expectations

Dougal please see the rns in November, after the CPR it is the intention to try and get a farm in partner to pay for 3d seismic, they tried a few years ago but couldn’t get any offers. Farm outs in Africa take many many months if not years to complete so highly doubtful they will announce a farm in any time soon. Much more likely potential farm in partners will wait until closer to the end of this year to see how the tullow drill goes in H2. News will come on CPR I’m happy to hold mid term for whenever the bod decide to release some figures hopefully it’s imminent if it’s not I can wait it out

After two days of big rises on no news, hopefully the share price doesn’t drop too much today so we can keep hold of the majority of gains

They state in the last rns in November that a stricter farm out will commence once CPR is ready so no chance of s farm out before mainly due to the fact farm outs take a long time and it will be the second time they have tried. Hopefully we hold the gains here today as gbp has a nasty habit of spiking then retracing if you look at the chart, if we can end up level today I will be very happy indeed, nice to see ASX catch up to the UK price low volume as always though not sure why they don’t scrap that listing

I agree it’s completely normal and understandable for the share price to retrace after a big rise on no news those taking profits just have a lower risk profile to others that will hold

Going crazy and rising fast could easily see 4p today imo

Bring on the CPR rns with huge buying volume and hardly any shares available I think 10p is highly possible here if the herd arrive on masse

Impossible to buy any now... this will imo be in auction for a long time when the rns is released that’s why it’s key to be in before news imo

Yes NT again now for any buy over 250 quid! It’s clear MMs don’t want to sell any stock at these low prices... they will have a good idea of what’s about to be released here and it would be far more profitable for them to sell shares on the CPR news at multiples of today’s price just as it is for all investors currently holding these golden tickets

Bodes very well indeed. Also very telling that the CEO wanted options on 6 million shares in mid November... that’s 3% of the company! Be very interesting to get that CPR rns I get the feeling gemsbok could be a world class giant prospect not long to find out got to be in it prior though to see the huge gains possible

The last operational update was issued intraday and I just get a feeling the CPR will be released intraday aswell. The Quarterly report is due at the end of the month and I think we will learn more about the farm out details and plans then so lots of newsflow to come after the CPR and probably the most exciting time to be in gbp over the last 7 years the sleeping giant is awakening
