The headline findings from the research work are that 21 of the analogues are at least twice as cytotoxic against (that is, able to eliminate) breast cancer cells as SFX-01, with the most potent being eight-fold more cytotoxic, and that none of the analogues are as potent as SFX-01 as an activator of Nrf2.

The current front-line treatments are hormone therapies, which have a major limitation: they don’t kill the cancer stem cells that lead to the recurrence of the disease and so patients ultimately become resistant to the medicine. It is hoped SFX-01, by targeting cancer stem cells will overcome this resistance problem. One can immediately see the potential in breast cancer for a combination therapy that allows sufferers to manage metastatic breast cancer as a chronic disease rather than a life sentence. For companies that make the hormone therapies it offers the opportunity to significantly extend the time of the usefulness of the product from perhaps 12 months to many years in some cases. Big pharma companies are very interested in SFX-01 and one even tried to buy Evgen shortly before it was floated back in December 2015. But Franklin and his team want to deliver Phase II data on both breast cancer and SAH before concluding a licensing deal or deals.

Looks like a 10 percent flipper from the placing cleared yesterday hense the tick up today. The buying volume here over the last few days would have sent to share price up 50 percent had it not been for a few flippers from the December placing. That’s the only reason peeps can buy so cheaply here but it won’t last much longer imo because 50 percent of the placing went to the investors on the share register in pro rata or increased holdings. interest is building by the hour here with some write ups from well respected investors on twitter over the weekend. Lack of any promotion for over 2 years and a small placing has allowed dirt cheap entry here but neither of those two variables will last much longer! Big things to come here imo it’s a hidden gem

About 55 percent of all Evg shares are held with respected institutional investors on the share register. So less than a 45 percent free float and most of them are owned by peeps from the ipo price of 37p. Hardly any trading of this stock over the last two years but as we enter the business end of proceedings that will all change. When more and more ppl research and hear about Evgen I expect it to slowly but Surley gain momentum and press coverage, after all its a great story and a good news story if the trial results are as good as we think they are. Imo Q1 cancer cell data readout will spark the rally here into interim breast cancer phase 2 readout due anytime in H1, lots of news to look forward to and an exciting time ahead as this starts to gain traction and come on pi radars

Some well respected posters on here and twitter building positions, expect this to move quickly next week, even more so if news arrives. First time since ipo that they will release some data to the market in Q1 be interesting to see what happens to the share price given no publicity or promotion for this share since ipo, cold hard facts in data form will do the talking as the CEO has always said, the fact that Seneca nearly doubled their holding in the placing is encouraging as these guys are well respected, AXA also respected pharma investors

Agree that’s what I’m looking at once we get the full phase 2 readouts, broker target of 97p and this is imo easily achievable on positive results due to the multibillion dollar markets and the sheer scalability of the Sulforadex technology in so many different disease areas. Imo once phase 2 is proven up Evgen will be subject to a bid from big pharma, make no mistake this is a biggy with blue sky potential, I backed IMM at 30p and they touched 200p last year with a £200m plus mcap and that’s without much promotion! Pharma stocks can be explosive and I believe this will be extremely explosive even more so with the tiny free float available

Huge interest and momentum building here now once peeps research this over the weekend we should imo see a steady rise into the 20ps next week, such a well run professional pharma quietly going about there business under the radar with the objective of letting the results do the talking all UK based UK Bod with the chairman Barry Clare having an incredible successful career at boots

Fully agree the scalability of the Sulforadex technology has monumental potential in a variety of different oncology and disease areas. Hopefully the phase two trials prove some great results the compassionate use program gives a pretty good indication of its effectiveness so far, then it’s a case of building the pipeline, could be a biggy this one and I’m certainly backing it will a very large holding

We are particularly pleased with the progress of the STEM trial and the requirement to open the compassionate use programme for patients that have had their tumour growth arrested for the full duration of the 24-week trial and wish to receive SFX-01 post-trial on ethical grounds. We now have one STEM patient that has been on SFX-01 for nearly a year with demonstrable clinical benefit and others that have entered the compassionate use programme.

It’s off the radar and near all time lows with transformational news due, tell me one negative about Sulforaphane and their Sulforadex technology baring in mind the current tiny mcap, I get what your saying about multiple posts but this is a quality share with huge potential not only for investors but mainly for the poorly people this company are helping and wish to help moving forward. I assure you there is no agenda, they are fully funded UK based respected BOD and management

This morning, should move through the gears quickly so under valued it’s ridiculous, find me any pharma company that has two fully funded phase two trials targeting multi billion dollar markets due to read out this year that has an mcap less than EVG. No competition for this drug they have the Sulforadex technology fully patented and orphan drug designation for the hemorrhage trial, ipo price was £27m mcap when the phase two trials had not even started so £27m fully funded has to be where this heads imo dyor it’s a very interesting company

Exactly and Evg unlike the other four have two phase two clinical human trials that have been 3 years in the making and entering the final stages. the institutional investors on the share register bought this at 37p in 2015 to hold for the full trial results, we are now at the business end of the trials and the price is 13p.... it’s just sailed under the radar but when news lands imo it will rise from the shadows like so many others that are not on ppls radar

6bn market revenue opportunity for the two current phase 2 trials with the SAS trial already been granted orphan drug designation. SFX-01 also has the opportunity to be used in Austism, MS, arthritis and lots of different cancers... so from a £12m mcap and broker target of 97p I cannot see a better Pharma on aim for blue sky multibag potential for 2018. Short term catalysts due in next few weeks with full data readout from the screening of cancer cells utilising the Sulforadex technology due imminently, positive readout from these could multibag it alone. Then we have the interim data readout from the phase 2 breast cancer trial due anytime in H1, A transformational few months ahead staggering potential that’s for sure With the breast cancer trial already granting a compassionate use program to the first patient dosed with SFX-01 who showed no disease progression after over 6 months and 3 scans of using the drug..... good luck all an exciting few weeks and months ahead imo dyor the rise here could be spectacular from all time lows

Yes orphan drug designation and fully patented, news flow has been sparse over the last 3 years since the ipo at 37p but the news that has been released has been nothing but positive and we now enter a news rich period and a pivotal point for Evgen and indeed the Sulforadex technology and it’s lead drug SFX-01, it’s working in the breast cancer trial as a compassionate use program has been set up with the first patient enrolled into the trial showing no disease progression for nearly a year, great news for this lady and her family first and foremost and for all the other ladies in the program who are benefiting from entering the trial. It has been demonstrated tolerability and safety and is clearly working for the ladies in the compassionate use program and long may that continue
