Only way imo this can survive now is if they stop the expansion, close the loss making stores ASAP and just keep the few butchers that are making a profit. It’s a cheap butchers shop at the end of the day, the business model is outdated how many ppl shop at a butchers these days!! As a small private company this can survive but it will take years to get it back to profit imo and will never be anything but a butchers shop selling cheap meat. I have been into one of there shops and they are poor quality selling cheap meat imo and the staff were miserable. Local butchers are struggling so how can a chain not struggle! No easy answers here the uk high street is only going to get worst company’s going bust every week

Big red flag for them both to quit a few weeks before the final results are released, this sector is taking a battering and it will only get worst imo, if any of the institutional investors start to sell out here it will be a blood bath for the share price, I think 2p is on the cards after all there were big sellers at 3p last week if the big boys start to dump their holdings the share could well be suspended and as I said in my previous post it would t surprise me if they delisted and took it back private with just a few profitable butchers shops all imo i was invested here a few years ago but wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole these days the failed expansion has taken away all that was good and replaced it with a heavy loss making format that doesn’t work especially in the current depressed high street

Good idea an email would be a good idea, I will send one tonight, around 100 grand was sold last week quite a lot considering the time of year so close to possible dividends etc. Just seems a strange time to sell and I would agree that if results are poor then there has clearly been a leak and this company is another barge pole share, let’s hope it’s just a distressed seller

So many high street big hitters and restaurant chains going into administration almost every week and it doesn’t look good at all here. Making a loss, expansion plan clearly failed and CEO and CFO walk away doesn’t bode well imo. This is a cheap butchers shop and that’s it, a few shops may be able to turn a small profit but that’s it imo, the expansion has failed and left them on the brink of administration by the looks of it, the only way to save this will be to close all the loss making shops and keep the few that make a profit and most likely delist it back I to private hands to save on administrative costs. Can it be saved from the liquidators that’s the question, needs an aggressive store closure plan and expenditure cut back to the bare bones to see if it can be saved

Yes agree that the recent large seller is most likely PWC liquidating Beauforts share holding in EVG, think they owned about 2,6% so about 300k to shift in total, not a huge amount but it has a big impact on an illiquid share like Evg hense is been NT to sell most days. Hopefully after the phase 2 trial readout are announced at the end of this year the CEO will start to be more proactive with investor relations and do some promotion etc if the results are good and warrant a phase 3 study we will need a partner on board I would think to fund the expensive phase 3 trials. Until the trials readout at the end of the year I think we just have to put up with a poor share price performance as with any pharma they only really move on good results but 9 months will soon pass

I just wish the audience was investors and not mainly scientists etc. The CEO took 5 grand at 12 p in the last placing for 2.3million hense my concern that he isn’t too concerned about the share price. Every slight rise recently has been heavily sold into and it has dropped pretty much immediately back down, so I think the CEO needs to do more with regards to investor relations etc. I am happy with the fundamentals not too impressed with the share price performance

It’s all well and good jet setting around speaking at a few congresses in America about the science but it does naff all for the share price they really need to start doing some promotion to get the share price moving. Looked at the speaker list and there is about another 200 speakers at this Congress at the end of April, I would much rather that he does some investor events but he seems unwilling to do any promotion unfortunately. Cash burn is 300k a month so the current funds run out at the end of October so another placing will be needed in late summer imo so the share price is important to stop our holdings been diluted to death but the bod seem to have total disregard for the share price as they hardly hold any shares. I have put this in the bottom draw until the end of the year when the trials finish but would like to see some investor events as without investor promotion events the price will just continue to drift and unfortunately we seem to have a large seller which also doesn’t help.

Still going through, another big sell gone through today if there is a problem with the plant again and it has been leaked to the seller that q1 figures will be poor I will be selling my holding here. If the large sell off continues next week I will sell half my holding, been doing this game too long not to see a red flag and these sells don’t look good at all unfortunately

Yes that is a big concern the price dropped like this last time, another problem in Q1 would destroy the price in this poor market, not looking good that’s for sure and could be more big sells to come

Something is not right here, that sell is huge and perhaps more to come if a large holder is dumping could see 8p very soon unfortunately such a dreadful market atm

Pointless if you ask me, why would a new bod be able to pay the general off or convince him to settle? This isn’t a business turn around for a new bod this is all down to one old powerful man so unless the general is the new CEO I don’t see the point in a new bod

Slightly concerned we may see it fall straight back down again as the buying seems to have been sparked by mad stork on twitter saying he had a position here and breast cancer readout was due by end of this month. We really don’t want false information with this share as it’s trying to help those affected by cancer although mad stork did acknowledge his error. Just to be clear interim breast cancer data is due in H1 so up until the end of June. Full breast cancer trial readout is not until the end of this year so 9 months away! Definitely not the end of this month. This is a share for the patient investor not your beer money day trader who sells out after a day at a loss because the price hasn’t moved. The price will move on positive news as always with Pharma shares. In the mean time we have got to clear the 12p placing sellers and PWC liquidating Beauforts holding so lots of patience required along with lots of research, Evgen is an investment lock away for a year and come back when the trials readout not a day trade that’s for sure
