He must be right p*ssed that funding still has not come through for TK and having to sell off the family silver or gold with JQ et al.
Having spent years building up the SA assets and lauding it's potential at every opportunity and to go into conferences concentrating on TK alone, is not a nice feeling I should imagine.
Do not know if that mintex conference is available to watch yet.
Just shows how quickly circumstances can change23 Nov 2024 22:26
Absolutely! It can be a tinder box at times. These are "frontier markets" as we have been told over and over again. So, can be expected. Why else has it taken years to get this mine up and running....and still not there yet!
Only Harry and the other large shareholders know whether this is the right choice or not to pursue mining Ethiopia or Saudi. Time will tell whether they made the right decision.
With Harry bleating on about the Saudi assets at every presentation and then this news.
There could be more trouble ahead if we don't get a good return with Saudi. Surely this needs to be put to the shareholders for them to have a say??
With TK it shows no deal has been accomplished apart from word of mouth. Will we be seeing some of our Ethiopian licences being sold off if this drags on??
When cash is needed.... desperate measures are taken as seen with Saudi.
