Eldave, Totally agree about further unwanted hindrances. It must be so frustrating for Kefi. Can they get this all sorted with the funding. This is one heck of a challenge!!
Harry has the tenacity... so who knows what the outcome will be.
We new that SA results were going to be fabulous.
However, not overly convinced by the RNS about TK news. It sounds as if this will be delayed now, for whatever reason. The wording used " in light of the improvements in the Ethiopian working environment during the past twelve months and for which a formal update will be announced shortly".
Strange wording to use if there is not going to be a delay!?
Funding sign-off should have been sorted by the end of December 2022 - has this been completed?
Taking into account how important a milestone this is for the company, no RNS.
Harry did say in the most recent webinar, as I recollect, that he was not going to pressure the syndicate into signing. He was going to let them carry this out in their own time - Does this constitute a delay?
We are now in Q1 which is when the TK project is to be launched - Does this constitute a delay?
Until some form of update, we need to assume that all is on track.
I can see an RNS coming out saying in around about wording that TK is being mothballed until we have the funding finalised. I am not being cynical just looking at the current and past history. If we were all done.... this would have been notified to the market by now and not down to the wire.
The volumes we have had of late have not been strong enough to take the 'skin off a rice pudding,' let alone get us to 1p (close but no cigar, i'm afraid). We should really be motoring along now with all the goods things lined up.. However, the Ethiopian situation is obviously weighing heavily on people's minds as we start to drift back to mediocrity with the sp starting to flirt in the 0.70's. :-(
The Clarity of the Ethiopian situation and the bank sign-off would be good for starters as we await the full funding over the next several months as outlined in the most recent presentation.
