I think its a wait and see really. I think they have about 300 mill dollars secured and may not need all the remainder $120 if ganfeng can reduce. Also I believe hanwa and other II's including ganfeng will have standard anti dilution rights. Best to stay open minded and wait for the ratification when peter s said to me in an email he will confirm.

Excluding, the additional obligation of 22.5% of the project costs also I assume tomcat. Plus their expertise against cost/time/risk etc. Are you a punter here tomcat as well as kdnc tomcat?

Anyway, let bygones be bygones imo. Each has their own strategy and preferences. All of which can make money even on the same stock, iver different timeframes. Some people make money scalping, day trading, swing trading or long term. Some use purely TA, some fundamentalists, some mix and match.
Really, that's what makes the market liquid! Anyway bottom line is I think both views are right. The news wasn't what the market needed to get the near term re rate anticipated by some short term traders so they rightly move on in line with their style. Doesn't mean it wasn't good news for those intending to hold longer.
Why not just move on gracefully. Its all just opinions and doesn't need to be personal.

Well if there is a large sell order in the background holding us back still I wonder who it is. At least it appears at present global x ate picking up some of the supply.

Be happier if seller was gone. KDNC cant have kuch if any left of their 2.77 % I last noted they held.

Maybe other can contact them to ask and request an rns just to make is clearer also. Wont harm. We all seem to have varying levels of uncertainty. If nothing else, even if shareprice stays as is, at least we may get clarity.

Zarro I personally think it will be mid June (ish) for Zinnwald feasibility but P.S. is just towing the official line of end q2.
In my questions to P.S I did say I think shareholders need an explicit and clear message to explain the funding structure for Sonora etc.
I think the project is in a really good place, especially with Ganfeng on board, just need some clarity so that broader investors can understand and buy in and reflect where the project is back into the shareprice. Lol.
Fingers crossed but I suppose, on the positive side, if the derisking of the project doesn't get recognised or reflected in the shareprice its an opportunity for those that believe to continue to add.

To be honest generally PS talked though what we (or I) already knew. So for those that watched the early may mining presentation and the IG/proactive interview links that were already posted on here yesterday the call very much covered same stuff in line with the investor presentation available on Bacanoras website. So I wont go over re write all that as its all on here from yesterday etc.
Q&A's key points I noted (again nothing major new for those up to speed from comments and resources posted over last few days) but in summary (but not exhaustive) are:
1. Why did Ganfeng invest - because size of deposit, long life and scalabliility. They like low cost and they actually like the clay deposits as they can be scaled more quickly.
2. What next on investment? - 6 weeks for China approval for Ganfeng so as per RNS aiming by end June.
3. How much financing is still to be raised? - PS stated that based on what we know now, financing is considered now largely complete. Ganfeng will spend 3-6 month looking at cap costs and are confident they can get long lead items cheaper and quicker. (So basically PS is saying assuming Ganfeng can deliver the savings they think they can, financing is pretty much done).
4. Are you talking to other strategic investors? - No
5. Zinnwald spinoff still happening? - Yes aiming to do this in near future now Ganfeng deal is completed which was focus last few months. Feasibility etc same info i.e. by end June.
6. Next few months news to be expected? - Ganfeng completion of Chinese approval, Zinnwald feasibility, Engineering process and timetable to sonora following Ganfeng review over next 3-6 months.

Bluegrass - I didn't get the impression much dd was needed. I think they did most and structured it prior to announcement. The time now is simply for Ganfeng to het the Chinese approval which takes up to about six weeks. Cantr see them blocking it given recent acquisitions etc made by Ganfeng, they appear very supportive.

I agree re Zinnwald listing I think that will be completed after Q2. Albeit I remain assured that the feasibility will be by end q2 alongside any news from discussions referred to with offtakers etc.

Dougal this is not a placing to 'keep the lights on'.
Read through the posts and watch the interviews from yesterday. The commitment and benefits are way more than the new equity.
No point posting it all again but I suspect you read it all anyway.

Couple key points from Peter S I noted but obviously could be others:
1. 50% of the financing coming from Gangfeng.
2. Hanwa are still an offtaker alongside Gangfeng.
3. Deal only contingent on Chinese approval as any money going out china needs approval. That process is about 6 weeks.
4. Gangfeng have a team finished/finishing up a construction in Argentina and will be heading to Mexico. They believe yhey can both accelerate construction by 3-6months by getting equipment from china and also reduce capital costs.
5. Zinn feasibility will be by end June. Talking to euro offtakers. Spin off now a priority.

All in all I think this is a solid endorsement and pretty much means funding is done without what could have been stronking dilution. Its not really what they paid for the stock, its what they now have to contribute to funding and the expertise they bring etc.
Real endorsement and I am sure production with be scaled up much faster. Especially given they and Hanwa are both buying it all up.

Agree with you bigbite. Totally. I think its fab news. Lets face it, if we had to try raise the original capex via equity we either a. Couldnt have or b. Would have resulted in way mpre shares than this. This way we have a customer for more lithium, a lower share of the capex, experts to expedite to production. Could easily be job done now what with the any money from Deutsche Lithium spinoff.
