Unfortunately Laura that's a large diamond auction. We have 36k carats gem quality, id imagine 90%+ of them are roughly 1 carat if we're lucky (at 600 a carat, that's still $20+m dollars) and then there's the specials above 10.8 carats which almost certainly are not 10% as that would be over 300 specials, but I'll be very glad to be wrong) - only specials demand a price of thousands per carat, not the whole batch. Then there's probably a good $2m dollars in industry grade crappy diamonds, but I ain't turning my nose at an extra $2m for the company).

This recent raise (sad as it stung me for a 20 grand loss - but hopefully will be very much worth it) it will identify far more gem quality stones, and also improve the clarity etc of the existing ones, boosting their value by several times. If we get $30m for the stones, $24 after costs (which should actually be less than 20% of the costs now that the raise has paid for this process, and not from the sale of the stones as it was suggested in the earlier RNS, which is very disappointing). So we only have fees and Zim gov to pay which is under 20%. Anyway, pont being if we get $24m dollars, were debt free, have circa $10m in the bank, access to new, better quality healthy finance Vs the terrible finance we have right now. Multiple JV's lined up, due diligence ongoing by prospective partners in Romania, and become one of a handful of rare aim listed companies that has no debt, cash in the bank, multiple operational licences, MoU's already signed and JV potential across multiple very lucrative countries.

And if a JV lands for Zim? All bets are off and this company 10x's overnight, and 20-30x over the next year so long as they hit the ground in marange. Sounds like a pipedream, but do you really think a debt free miner with a licence in the marange fields will be worth 12m like our current mcap? 50m? 150m?

Just my opinion of course, if it does go up 20x I doubt I'll be around to see it, as I'll have wussed out at 2-3x. Maybe keep 1m shares as a long term see how it goes investment, I've got 9m to play with so we'll see how it goes!

But from the message she has sent you it definitely sounds like they are waiting to tie this with a press release, an auction result or results, or a full large catalogue. With 25,000 stones, it would even be feasible to allow public bids (I mean, it would be nice if we could buy one of these for a few hundred dollars as a keepsake - I might even suggest this if she replies to me directly)

Very interesting Paul but of course we can only take your word at face value unless you want to forward the correspondence to one of our emails? Regardless, if this is true then all the points I made below are very relevant and they sound like they will be pairing this with bigger news, primary auction results or a whole catalogue of images and narratives. If we have stones between 10-40 carats as AP said, stones within this range could be worth half a million or more, each. If there's a coloured one? To be cut and shaped over 20 carats? Millions. However I will stay on the conservative side until proven (happily) otherwise 👌

If this email from Vast is legit, it actually reads as pretty encouraging, just in a more PR-polished way.

They’re clearly confirming:

✅ The team is actively working on presenting them properly, with supporting detail

✅ The beneficiation process is still ongoing (so more gem-quality stones could yet be found)

✅ They’re committed to sharing the images — just timing it right

Let’s be real — they’re not going to rush out raw, unlabelled pics of mixed-quality stones. That would only cause confusion or misinterpretation, especially with AIM retail sentiment as volatile as it is. They want to tie the images to valuation, classification, and narrative, likely just before or during a tender event.

And if beneficiation is still happening, that 27% gem quality figure could improve. Every extra percent of gem-quality makes a huge difference to valuation.

Yeah, the “within weeks” line is vague and frustrating — no argument there. But if they’re holding off to pair visuals with proper context (and maybe a juicy auction result), that could be strategic rather than shady.

We all want clarity — but if this is a PR build-up to a stronger announcement, it could be worth the wait.

There has been some crazy buying volumes from 100k-400k GBP over the last couple of weeks. There's definitely something going on behind the scenes. These mammoth buys aren't by retail with a spare 200 grand in their pocket. And they also won't be able to sell that many if anything goes wrong with such volume, so they'd be locked in. The only way they can get rid of that many shares is buy selling into huge buying power. Plenty of big boys confident in that!

Ifik, you're going off an average of $93 per carat. Is that for rough diamonds sold in bulk? Or for beneficiated, sorted and sized parcels that maximise value pre cutting? You're not comparing like for like. $93 a carat for beneficiated, clean polished stones? Yeah I'll buy however many you've got. FACTS? Well the facts are in my post, and the average value per carat post beneficiation, is exactly that.

I have done GPT estimates. You must give it a great amount of information to get a realistic valuation. Mine comes up with these valuations based on the following information and assumptions;
