When I first read Mr Dorfan posts on here I did some research and as a result hold him in high regard. The dividend is a divisive issue. Perhaps that is where the name came from. On balance I agree that a small dividend would be very positive providing the balance sheet would enable us to borrow money for future growth at beneficial interest rates, not like that Darwin fiasco a few years ago, which I did flag up to Leon.
Keep posting Mr Dorfan, your knowledge is extremely well received.

PE of 15 seems about right but I am struggling with an sp of 45p which was why i asked for views. that said I would be delighted. I have revised upwards from 25 to 30 by end of July, assuming everything on track.
Cheers
@alanadale, that little beano to Seville to visit the Rio Tinto mine was fun and an eye opener for me. Wow. 8 years ago. Maybe I should organise something tor Jubes one day. UKT, I have been buying for 15 years and have broken all the rules but I am a chancer by nature and every time I think of significantly reducing I wonder what to do with the funds and the investment case gets better. Sometimes I wake up in the night in a cold sweat but here I am still ! I recently sold a few but only ended up buying back in my ISA!
I occasionally diversify into other stocks but always gravitate back here. So breaking all the rules this is now my only holding. Got other assets such as physical PMs and cash in different currency but JLP is hard to better if you don't mind a little risk. I have 7.35m across different accounts. 6/7ths in ISA. Lost track of my average but probably around 4-5p.
If armageddon happens I will sell my other assets and buy a yacht!
