I think this is why the PPI to be refunded is underestimated, most people don’t realise how far it goes back.

Richard, records are held for sometime, a PPI policy I had in 1994 was easily tracked down as they still had the records and knew how much I had paid into policy. This was with Direct Line which had changed hands in the last few years.

True story and happened only six weeks ago. Friends brother was an alcoholic, he was sent off to dry out in rehabilitation centre. He successfully stayed sober for 10 months. He made a PPI claim recently, got the payment in the bank and hay ho off he went on a bender and drank himself to death. My friend found her brother in his flat dead, only 48. What a way to go. Nothing you can say, not every one enjoyed their PPI payment.

Yes, Richard, I do, but I was greedy and held on to my cost, silly me, but I have stopped buying Lloyds now, making good profits on Bt.a, bought in there at 2.07 and it pays a juicy divi of 10.5 beginning of September. Bt.a hovering at 2.35 at the moment, also did a quick in and out of Cna, picked up the divi and a small profit. £10000.00 in the pot for new car fund. Lol

I have to say that I bought two lovely cauliflowers grown within a few miles of me . 2 for £1.50. Also fresh raspberries and strawberries grown locally. Could have bought a variety of other foods grown locally today at the farm shop if I had wanted them.

While working in London many years ago, I met a lot of Jewish people, they were some of the friendliest and generous of the collective London population. Some of Jewish my customers regularly brought me in egg mayonnaise sandwiches for my lunch and packets of toffees were brought in every day whether they needed to see me or not.
