I agree with Manny. I’d be in favour of a JV rather than getting on STRIVE. It takes the future of SNG001 out of the hands of the muppets who screwed up the last P3, and puts it in the hands of professionals who are motivated for it to succeed. STRIVE would sideline the muppets but replace them with pros who would not be particularly on our side.
Hang on
Haven’t we done this already? 25% - 49% holding only allows you to block special resolutions, not ordinary reolutions
@Doc83 said "Any bidder needs 90% of shareholders to approve"
Have I misunderstood you?
You only need 50% plus one share to gain control
If Poly were to bid, they would only need about 28% of the remaining holders to accept for them to gain control
Any other bidder probably wouldn’t bother without getting Poly’s acceptance first, but if they did then they too would only need 28% of remaining shareholders to accept to gain control.
"Assume that's a 12 month target"
I dont think brokers often put a timescale on their price targets....they like to avoid things they can be pinned down on....
More significant than the price target is the fact that a business like BoA is getting involved. Open to correction but I don't believe they have much form on AIM. Hopefully this will attract further interest.
Soothing Newgen is an admirable goal.
Can you put an at best order into the action?
If so you are right...schoolboy error
You won't see a different touch on the LSE, but you will se any depth on the book (is this thing order driven?). It will make no difference to the bid/offer you see if you make an online enquiry with your broker.
It means literally nothing
It’s a serious mistake to try to silence those who have a negative view of the company’s prospects. You need all sides of the story to make an informed investment decision.
Eason Chen is a muppet
I think it’s more likely to be linked to HZM putting an energy supply contract in place
"The site seems to just estimate which trades are sells and which are buys by looking at whether the exeuction price is nearer to the bid or ask"
True dat.
Trivial volume as usual
"it is an instrument that can be traded..."
Forward contracts aren’t traded on any exchange.
Yes I did a little top up yesterday. Free float isn't getting any bigger. Mine build appears to be progressing smoothly. Price of the product is encouraging.
If you are a copper producer, and you sell some of your anticipated production forward, that is a hedge.
Yes must be from the fundraise.
7.88% in total.
These guys are new, ya?
If they’ve done it via a forward contract they won’t get paid until the end of the contract
