A low valuation for a mine producing 500k gold per annum, is 1b, so the Russian mines producing 1.2m pa should be sold at the least for 2.5b, leaving debt of 0.3b, cash of 0.5b and just the Kazakhstan assets. Does anyone agree?
I'm looking for the aisc gold and silver for each individual mine if anyone knows and how much would the closure of Pallancata affect overall profit as it appears it only contributes a small amount of production. Why are they estimated to go from a net cash position to a net debt position in 2022 of 122m?
So does the Egyptian government take 50% of the net profit after tax or is the net profit after tax a figure that comes after the Egyptian government payment has been deducted.
Mr Bond thankyou for taking the time to reply, interesting stuff.
Many thanks Sotolo for your reply, also Gold production around 200k for example aisc 1400 average sale price 1850,does that not bring profit from gold to 90m not including silver production. Between 2012 and 2021 sp has mostly been above 200 even to 400, why so when earnings /profit were low = high pe now sp low on high earnings possible highest ever earnings.
Firstly thank you deep joy and can anyone confirm these numbers for example production 400k at aisc 1550 average sale price 1585=120m profit. So we should be seeing profit just above that number, and also in the years 2012-2015 why was Centamin in the 30-50 p range? does anyone know what the profit was during theses years as I cannot find anywhere.
Thankyou Quigger and Velo.
Hi Mike great answers very much appreciated, thankyou. Yes eps estimates are from market screener.
Any explanation for the low valuation, profit is currently quite high and so are future estimates, what are your expectations for forward profits future prospects and current valuation, I have some eps estimates for 2022 - 23-24 of 40-41-36 cents, can anyone confirm or update these?
Any explanation for the low valuation in comparison to net assets and profit, Sylvania is currently very profitable, but was not for all of the years prior to 2019, could Sylvania return to the profitability levels of the years prior to 2019? Also when does the share buyback end and I have some eps estimates for the years 22-23-24 of 20-24-23 pence, can anyone confirm or update these estimates?
Anyone know what Q1 profit was, what are our expectations for q2 profit, production and aisc, have some eps estimates for 2022 - 23-24 of 10,11,11. With costs as high as they are now are these estimates out of date and can anyone update?
Anyone notice silver aisc 18-19 dollar and that was the guidance before oil prices were as high as they are now, so current silver price quite close to or already not profitable as aisc may be higher now???
Acquisition of Amarillo completed on the 1/4/22.
Dividend usually first week in Sept paid end of month.
Hochschild EPS estimates for the next 3 years are between 16 and 20c but divi estimates only 5c why so little paid in dividends , what's everyone's expectations?
On the dividend confirmation vouchers it states swiss withholding tax @35% so not sure why we can only claim back 20%.
My broker said I could claim back 20% as its in a stocks and share isa. Other people on here told me the same I filled in column 7,for 20%.
PPS Once you get it back from Hmrc you then send 1st 2 copies to Swiss tax man.

P S Not sure if I filled mine in correctly still waiting for it back from the tax man, up to 7 months apparently. You only fill in the first 2 pages and page 4 is general instructions. Good luck
Download the snapform viewer and form 86 from the Swiss federal tax administration website and contact your broker and ask for the dividend confirmation / tax vouchers for Ferrexpo. Fill in the form and send 3 copies to Hmrc. If you hold these in a stocks and shares isa the answers to the questions are YYYNYNNNNNNN. Fill in colomn 7. Observations for 3, Held in a stocks and shares isa. If you go back through my posts you will see i got all of these answers here as I had no clue how to fill it in its very complicated. Also you have to convert it all into Swiss francs but not on today's exchange rate, on the date when the dividend was paid I think.
