Actually Dog Star I try and be quite careful now about criticising posters and I do take on board quite seriously the more negative ones. But even from your post this morning implying Sirius are going back to the government with a begging bowl - that’s a load of rubbish - the Company have stated that they are re-visiting the bonds. Others, including MPs can see the value of the Company of Sirius to Northern Powerhouse and have been discussing that. Anyway why would you bother to post on here at 5.28 in the morning - the only reason I can possibly think is that your some sort of competitor? You have made it quite clear from other posts that you would never ever invest in Sirius. How would Sirius ever even have got off the ground? - even get planning permission? - if people who know everything there is to know about soil science, fertiliser industry or agriculture hadn’t thoroughly researched it enough to convince all those experts that they had to to enable this project to get as far as it had? Sirius wouldn’t even have got past ‘the idea’ stage if all the experts all round the world thought like you

Buying into this share is just ‘mind games’ for investors who are ‘less sure’ at the moment so I can understand where Beevorma was coming from - at the end of the day we are all really out for ourselves! It’s normal to think ‘should have bought’ when it goes up and ‘should have sold’ when it goes down - easier just to hold (apart from the being 50% down bit)!

With respect Alan, you’ve been able to take advantage of the lower SP to double your holding and reduce your av to around 13p. It’s not easy for those who had larger holdings than yours with a SP average of 30+ - they just might not feel inclined to throw yet more money at Sirius - they already had put much more money into Sirius than you or I or many others posters on here!

If what you say is true KOH then I don’t understand why my Southern based MP didn’t reply in a different tone to me - why would he bother to email me twice and end with ‘fingers crossed’! He’s an MP replying to a constituent with a massive of other urgent local things he needs to address - there are loads of ways he could have replied in a less positive tone. In spite of what you say Sirius was bought up in Parliament lately and Teresa May was obviously aware of Sirius. I’m not holding my breath but I do think there was some truth in CF not being able to wait for Government to get its act together to arrange some sort of guarantee plus Sirius is quite crucial to Northern Powerhouse. Bonds is at low interest as poss is obvs first plan but let’s just see!

No one knows where we’ll be in 8 years time but who knows what can happen or what a holding of 10,000 shares in Sirius will look like. People who currently have much larger holdings than you may well be tempted to sell along the way worried about having too much money in one share. Your 10,000 shares may well be very worth it with divs and SP growth. There are absolutely no guarantees and we might all lose our money (I don’t think we will) and all you can do is your best. To me 10,000 shares is a lot of hold in one company - maybe not so much in AIM or footsie 250 and with Sirius SP so low but if this ever gets to footsie 100 and 10 years from now you could be thinking differently! There’s no way that man’s research can add up to the combined research of all the people who have put their money where their mouth is re Sirius - whether it be construction, finance, investors huge and small or all the other areas of this companies development that he probably doesn’t even know about

It wasn’t that straightforward but I’m not great on my iPhone! Still think if we have to get to plan B there might be something in it - I just felt my MP down South was already aware and quite supportive and he’s a big Brexit MP (as I pointed out to him)!

I’m no expert at all in this - but looking at it very much from the outside it just looks like a game of cat and mouse - tweets are sent world economy spirals down - another tweet two days later - spirals up. And on and on it goes. Honestly I don’t know what’s going on any more!

I know it’s tempting JR but don’t. You’re putting extra pressure on yourself for the SP to go up in the short term and it might not and then you’ll start having to pay interest and that will prob really stress you out. Plus you need money to live and enjoy yourself. You’ve built up a great holding already and if all goes as we think it will you’ll have lots of money in Sirius! Fingers crossed - I hope it works out for you bec you’ve shown such faith and kept us all going!

Hi JR - this time I know I won’t buy any more. I’ve reached my ‘lucky goal no of shares’ but mainly bec I recognise that to buy any more would not be sensible in terms of what’s right for the family! Would be way too heavy in SIrius and I’m not exactly ‘starting out’ like lots on here! But I’m very happy with what I’ve got and just hope Sirius hasn’t been a total mid life crisis because I could have had a sports car, loads of exotic holidays, loads of jewellery etc etc - actually all I really want to do is help my children!! Have a lovely bank holiday!

Think from my posts Stanley some might have gathered buying shares in Sirius is totally on me!! But I will never buy any more now - I’ve reached my target.

Haha Chris - I’m sure I haven’t - I’m worried I’m going to be totally past it by the time we get to £1 party! I’ll have to send my children if that’s the case!

Plus me as well Spenny! My investment in Sirius initially was on gut feeling, lucky names and numbers! I have done a lot of research but I’m no expert - I did know Sirius wouldn’t be plain sailing though and there would be difficult times - this last few weeks has been the worst for me bec I bought a few more! But you must do what you think as well - read all the posts - you’ll soon know which are the genuine negative ones and the complete de-rampers - but take everything on board - good and bad - and then just go with what your gut feeling is and don’t invest more than you can afford to lose - good luck!
