Unless shareholders need to sell, and I’m really very sorry for anyone in that position, this post from Bamps is the sort of post we need to focus on. Of course any genuine shareholder is frustrated by SP but we can’t control that. For me reading factual posts which reinforce to me why I’m invested far outweigh many of the posts on here that I’d far rather not have to read tbh in this current climate
It’s not sticking my head in the sand and ignoring the concerns of others - I take on board all genuine concerns from genuine posters - it’s just the way I feel and it’s what I think - not trying to change the way others might think before anyone insults me which always seems to happen on here these days and yes I am *** with SP as well and completely get how it’s a big worry for some
But as others have said GGP is not alone in its disappointing SP - we’re in a very difficult market that will punish any uncertainty and sometimes a company has to make smart decisions in uncertain times.
So far for me smart decisions have already been made by Shaun and his team (getting a highly respected team around him, securing A$340 million in new funding to fully fund its 30% share of Haverion with three top banks, equity investment with Wyloo, drill grant for Ernest Giles, option agreement to sell Tasmanian tenements, Farm-in to Rio Tinto Paterson South tenure) / these all pave the way for the sort of company GGP can one day be and what many believe will be
I look forward to seeing further smart decisions, for the general market to improve and for what’s in the ground to do the talking which will all give SP a boost and will reflect more fairly the company we’re invested in
