Thanks Emily - not sure why I can’t recommend any more!

My head tells me we are going to be at the the mercy of the traders for however long it takes to get Sirius through to the next stage - not pleasant esp with de-rampers making it worse (but I’m not reading). My heart is telling me to try and average down which is what I’ve always tried to do. But my gut is telling me I have my ‘lucky number’ of shares and I’ve put enough money into Sirius - strategy always been the LT - even if it takes 5-10 years. That’s a long long time and so much can change. If we can get through the next stage - even if it’s ‘down’ but as long as it’s not ‘out’ - I think LT all to play for. In the ST what will get me through is that in my head I will be reducing my losses and that will be enough for me bec it’s the LT - okay probably lower share price - but divs I’ve always been interested in. Basically I never dreamt we’d be where we are so I’ve already got that very wrong but no way I’m throwing in the towel and crystallising my loss whilst there’s still hope -if I’m wrong and the best I can do is reduce loss I’d rather do that. For the sake of what I have left I’d rather risk that than what could possibly be - but we all have to do what is best individually and none of it’s easy!

Well guess I’m going to have to face a few more weeks of losing a few pounds in both senses of the word plus keep wasting time filtering and logging in every time so I don’t see the filtered posts. But it’s all par for the course of being a Sirius shareholder at the moment! Good luck next week to all the good people on here! And there are lots!

This board works much better with the filters working. Normally I can put up with the de-rampers but not at the moment. I can totally understand anyone selling and it is a very personal decision to hold/sell. It’s hard if you’ve genuinely believed enough in a company to invest in them to turn that off when a lot of what you’ve believed in is still fundamentally the same. Of course Stage 2 financing is crucial and we’re not in a good place and I’m sure everyone holding doesn’t need to be told what’s at stake. I certainly know in no uncertain times. My plan now is when/if it starts going back up is to focus on how much I’m reducing my paper loss. At least that might make it all seem a bit more positive and not such a long climb back. It’s always been a long term hold and the money wasn’t going to be touched. So as yet I haven’t in my mind I haven’t lost anything - however I just can’t look at my share account.

pokersam - I have lost weight a few lbs as well - this is actually a very good diet plan!

Well I’ve just spoken to Tristan at Investor Relations - he spoke to me for over 15 mins. I told him exactly how I felt and had a very open discussion with him. He knows what’s going on - what’s being said, how everyone’s feeling. Obviously he can’t say much more than we know. Talks ongoing with all parties still, trying to find the best way forward. They’re doing exactly as they said they were going to do for the reasons they gave - but it’s only week 1 of 6 months. Sirius has been here before with everyone doubting them - they’ve overcome huge obstacles before and as always it’s up to each individual investor to decide what they do. No one can advise and I’m just so sorry that so many people are so genuinely in awful positions. I can’t give up on Sirius but I can totally understand those that have had to. For my sanity I’m going to try and step back bec there are much bigger forces than me making money here and no doubt they will continue and it’s just so hard to watch.

I haven’t looked at the board all day and then stupidly looked at SP and then had to look at the board! Would just like to say thank you to all the genuine posters for your posts - I just couldn’t imagine what bad news there could be in just over a week into our review but it’s all just got so nervy now and just to read some non panicky posts has made me feel better! It’s hard to stop believing in a company bec of the low SP. If my one shot at share buying ends in complete failure then I’ll have to live with that - either way I’m never buying shares again. I’ve got my lucky number so I’m not buying more - if we get through this we’ll get to my average one day and I don’t care how long it takes (well within reason)! and I’m not giving up on it yet - but it’s not easy and it’s depressing but I do hope the investors that believe in the company like I do keep posting to balance the way this board is at the moment - we need to keep our spirits up like never before!! It feel like we’re battling against everything!

After 6 weeks of being stuck at home I nominate myself for reading this board and wasting my time filtering over 30 people - dog star for some reason you refuse to be filtered so you’re my other nomination. From tomorrow I can drive again and get out of the house and hopefully take a welcome break from a bunch of strangers who seem to spend an unbelievable amount of their time discussing a company they think so little. It will be so amazing if you’re all proved wrong and if you’re not the positive will be I don’t have to mix with any of you in my everyday life

Hi Thatscoffee - if it’s any consolation you’re not alone - the last couple of days have been really difficult and I think lots of Lth feel they are under that rain cloud with you! What I have learnt is you’ve got to be quite careful what you say on here especially at a time like this. Until we get some news from the company I’m afraid this is probably par for the course. What helped me a bit is only a very small percentage of investors post on here - and of course we don’t know what they are thinking - but really that’s irrelevant bec obviously you’ve just got to do what you feel is the right thing for you. I’m sure some investors are feeling it’s a bit of a relief to sell bec it’s not much fun holding at the moment! Problem is the company is not going to say anything positive while they are in their various discussions/negotiations/review and the market hates any kind of uncertainty so they are not going to be particularly kind to us until they know what’s going on. I don’t think we can be compared to Thomas Cook though and there’s an awful lot of investors with high averages as well. Good luck!

I’m very sorry PopEx - you have had such a difficult time - some people have been invested in Sirius for so long and so much has happened to them during that time. I hope life gets easier for you as the months go by - over the years of posting on here there are so many people I want Sirius to come through for

Debtnmarrijslave - I haven’t filtered out anyone who I think is genuine (I hope) - I always take on board the negative views and I do think about what is said. Normally I don’t filter anyone but like many holders I am finding our current situation quite depressing and I’m trying to just get through it! Genuine posters shouldn’t be jumped on bec they think differently though - I agree and it’s a shame

I really do feel like we’ve been under attack! Surely some that are posting on here aren’t professional people working in the city are they? I can’t imagine anyone I know that works in share dealing acting so unprofessionally

Read my history - that should keep you off this board for a while! I know you’re more than entitled to say what you think but all I will say is this situation is really not great for SH’s and all we can do is what we think is right. We have to make up our own minds, do our own research, accept the consequences of our decisions and most importantly not be influenced by whatever is posted on here. This board has been a magnet for some posters who seem to take pleasure in the situation we find ourselves in. Many of them have clearly not done a fraction of the research that investors have and it’s wearing and most of us holding Sirius shares aren’t in the mood for it. We want to discuss Sirius, developments. We have very many knowledgable posters who are experts in their various fields and we can’t get to read their posts because of all the **** that’s been posted on here. Plus why would they want to post on here and read all the rubbish? Trouble is then the board gets taken over like we’ve seen. It’s not a game, or a fan club, it’s our real money at stake here and there are over 85,000 of us. I’m here for a long term investment and because, despite the setbacks, there is still everything to play for but I still don’t get why posters who have no interest in the company are here gloating, posting inaccurate facts and trying to talk a company down that has massive potential for the North

Okay you are more than entitled to your views which you have made more than clear. So why on this very rainy Tuesday morning are you still here posting them on a company you have quite clearly given up on? I don’t get it.

I thought that’s why we’re in the position we’re in now? After having gathered feedback from various parties over the last few months the company has decided to have a thorough review to concentrate on areas that were of concern to others. So I think we should wait and see what the outcome of that review is. At least the company is being proactive. They have listened and are acting in it. My view is they are working alongside various parties, including the government, to come up with a plan. For all we know they withdrew the bonds because of an interesting conversation they had had with another party. No one knows except them. When we’ve all got our money invested it’s only human nature to think the worst. Nothing ever is set in stone and whatever anyone says I don’t think Sirius could have had a worse time to try and deliver stage 2 - maybe we should try and respect that in the current climate it may be crucial to all, the workforce, local economy and of course shareholders currently holding that they are entitled to change their mind through feedback and continue in another course of action to hopefully get the best deal available for everyone.
