I agree a good post from Tricky. Although the mention of JPM does bring back some bad memories for me I also get about the different divisions with a company working separately. Although for a long time I felt reassured by Chris Fraser’s financial background (COI of Sirius) I think Gervaise is in a completely different class just as Sirius and GGP are completely different companies. It’s hard when you feel completely comfortable with a company and BOD and get let down but hopefully it makes you a better investor. I can’t see any of the warning signs with GGP that I should have seen with Sirius

This is such a mind blowing huge project - it has been a long couple of weeks waiting for LOI but when it comes it will have been worth it

I share the concern re JPM involvement. What happened at Sirius needs a thorough investigation on so many levels and anyone who was a Sirius SH is bound to have concerns

Have just read mushroomkid’s post. If your wife comes I’ll sit and chat to her about all the shoes, jewellery and how we’re going to spend our money! Seriously though if it’s a ‘boys drinks’ and numbers are limited I can just as easily come to the next one and maybe get a few more lady investors!!

I’m afraid I’ve not been a very big contributor on this board - just wondered re numbers for tomorrow as I don’t want to take up the place of one of the regulars if numbers are limited? I originally said I’d come as I’m local but haven’t said since!

Couid it not be than rather than the market not having the faith in the company to handle the large potential sales that the market just had no patience in the current climate? So much money seems to rainbow chase at the moment. My feeling is GDR still has enormous potential but it’s hands are tied by waiting for approvals - just out of it’s control?

Gosh going into this week I don’t mind saying I feel a bit nervous. I’m sure many of us have been in the position where it goes horribly wrong and I think once that’s happened to you you’re a changed investor. The next weeks/months may get a bit bumpy but with EUA there are so many positives. I felt with my last big investment I had lived and breathed it for a few years - here I was lucky with my timing and haven’t been through nearly as much as the real lth’s who kept everyone going through suspension including me! EUA so far have delivered in so many ways - let’s hope that this is another rare occasion on Aim where investors can really come out on top - so many of us deserve to.
