Different standards apply to different jurisdictions Senator. For example the UAE is a hub for financial advice and yet the advisors are unregulated and don't need qualifications. Scary but true. If you do screw someone over you'll end up in prison or with a fine that will sink you and still land you in prison lol. Take the US as well. Depending on which main party is in office the regulatory environments tighten and then slacken regularly. There hasn't been a new MIFID Directive for example since Trump got in. I disagree that a foreign regulator will look at this with a "well if its not good enough for the FCA its not good enough for us " lens..."beyond ridiculous" is well beyond ridiculous to take a view as extreme as that IMO.

The model seems to be to lend aggressively, get what you can back in - milk the business and then give back what is left in compensation. This is without doubt something the FCA has unwittingly facilitated!!!!!

Hello Senator - I agree somewhat. I think what you have is two different looking businesses, one currently which will be smaller and slower to grow under tight UK regulation and another with no or little UK business whilst a JD is undertaken and then an even slower build into overseas, less regulated markets (like the UAE for example). JB's route can doubtless work but we're looking 2-3 years not 2-3 months. And I agree the FCA will dig in, however this doesn't mean they would automatically be found without fault, so you would eventually find compromises. Lots of volatility if JB wins. What still beggars belief is how Hamish Patton hasn't been drummed out of the market! CEO of Bright House in Administration. Pretty much driven Amigo on to the rocks as well...much of what JB says is factually spot on about the FCA and its relationship with folks that don't rock the boat!

I expect contrarian moves this week. Broad risk off sentiment but money flowing into value. Any vague positive and this will double on very little.

well done. I said this would take untilnoctober to start turning and feeling self righteous for a moment. So the SP has gone down for a few days...and???. Same story..slow.recovery with unknown covid impact. Ita a balancing game, collecting monies versus not allowing breathing room..each mistake costs 5k. Will be slow therefore and SP won t truly get going until mid november. That there is another opportunity to buy at these prices is a godsend.

You are wrong. GC has limited powers given balance across BOD. Unequivocally Amigo has been mismanaged so what do you expect without JB influence? That Nayan and Roger will hold their hands up and find replacements to backfill their roles? Amigo needs fresh direction, investment and a clear out. Jb has the knowledge and passion to find a way. This is an absolute no brainer.

I m not being funny but dividends are 2 years away. And as for folk suggesting JB losing the vote could mean amigo going under backslash having nowhere to go backslash no future i roll my eyes. Think 3-6 months like any normal investment not 3-6 hours minutes backslah hours backslash days. The business will get through this in time either way of vote.

If the logic suggested JB sells and therefore the price should rise, to me that a near certain bet that price will go down. I expect that we will see below 10p easily. Weak holders need a shake so its investors and not traders left then you ll see more stability. SP will also go up when you least expect. Eye on teh LT prize as the odds into next year of a meaningful turnaround are prettt fair not least with a shake up of BOD.

As i ve said before 100% rise in 6 weeks doesn t seem enough for folk. I d be thrilled with 22p in late october for example and then 40p+ by YE. Nice n steady.

Agree Claire, I think FOMO mighy see this go up quicker than i was thinking originally. This wouldnt need much momentum to see fast progress. All will be revealed-)
