And BP Chair is paid just over double THG chair for a massively complex global business generating huge turnover, profits and large dividends.

Practical solution is to replace the CEO with someone capable of running a quoted PLC and all that entails, MM has continually proved he is not up to it, his performances in front of analysts is usually very poor. The Chairman is grossly overpaid by any Benchmark, has delivered nothing of value to shareholders so take the cost saving by paying market rate.

But there is always an excuse or some external factor to blame. Just 5 years ago the share price was over £6 and had been even higher. It has just been excuse after excuse other than accepting Board failure, for year after year of shareholder value destruction. It is astonishing that the CEO and Chair are allowed to remain in place.

Absolutely nothing he has done for years had been to the benefit of shareholders. One other option worth trying to improve the shareholder price is for him to resign and to install an individual with the skills to run a quoted company.

Not sure where you get free cash neutral from. Looks like another significant outflow to me. On balance more likely to take share price down than up.

Got out of this share in 2021 at £8.26 as it looked grossly over valued for the risk. Back in today at £3 as now looks under valued to me although it has always been a pretty high risk stock.

Yes, anyone wondering why they are valued more should just look at those results. Forget the revenue, it’s what happens under that number that matters. And their Chairman is paid a fraction of what the anonymous THG Chair earns for delivering more.

No it was not a personal action, but the company I was CFO of acting alongside others who had lost out due to the behaviour of the directors and major shareholder in a quite high profile case. Not on a no win no fee basis and a pretty large firm of lawyers. As I say, I wish you well but don’t bank on it.

All I can tell you is that in a long career as a CFO, I twice tried to pursue directors through the courts, once with their auditors, on cases I knew intimately and which there was clear breach of fiduciary duties that led to massive losses for a lot of creditors (we were taken for almost £200k). Eventually after months and significant money we hit a brick wall and our lawyers who were initially bullish recommended we call it a day.

No my average price was 19p and I wish individuals well if they go down that route but I would wager all my profits on it going nowhere.

Anyone who thinks a class action is a runner should look at history of situations far more clear cut, none of which went anywhere regardless of the sabre ratting on these boards. High profile ones included NMC PLC (FTSE 100) and Patisserie Valerie both of which resulted in shareholder wipeout and very dubious behaviours.

And you don’t think Capita have made over aggressive acquisitions? They were known in the market for paying more than anyone else.

I have commented before on this stock. Reason for commenting again is that the rampers are out in force claiming the lastest huge share price decline is a buying opportunity, which it may be but equally may be the start of further falls.

So when you lose an agreement you resort to daft comments.

Your view, all I can tell you is that I was a CFO and competing against Capita for potential acquisitions in the market. I could get nowhere near the valuations they ended up paying which were absurd (like Marconi). I was in Rolls as well although now out at a large profit. That was nothing like Marconi, in my view this is. All I am saying is any inexperienced investors should be aware as these board are full of individuals claiming massive potential profits.
