The sp is drifting but the volume is pony. It's pi's getting squeezed and some leverage players no doubt. Less than £400k traded today. I could have flipped some stock today and accounted for the entire volume. Important to keep it on context.

lunch - it's pretty clear to me and has been for a while now.

NCM and BHP want to force SOLG to do equity raise (using shares) cash box, open offer, rights issue... they don't care... hut they don't want the assets tapped, royalty deals done or anything that does not involved them filling their pockets with cheap SOLG shares.

Now... SOLG have 'tested' the market unlike last time around (so we are led to believe) so NCM and BHP did not support it. Well that's due diligence and governance done and ticked off. Now, SOLG should just get on and sort the Boliden deal and say that after much consultation and discussion with all shareholders we decided to go down the royalty route. We know some shareholders don't like this but we have to do the best for the majority of shareholders and not a select few. If the two largest shareholders want to assert undue influence then they should consider who runs the company and their minority holdings and decide whether they wish to make a full and fair offer for the business or move on.

It's really that simple as there's no way SOLG can please everyone. They have to go with the majority. So do it SOLG and stop being dictated to by these bullies.

Totally agree, why not present the streaming offer to all shareholders and hold an EGM to vote on it.

If majority of shareholders vote yes, then that's that. That's good corp governance... we've listened and out it to a vote.

What Tiswas failed to mention is that last year SOLG did the Franco deal because NCM and BHP were after a cheap placing. Had he not been so greedy then the Franco deal might not have happened. Now... SOLG could throw it back and say we don't support your idea as you're doing exactly what you did last year!!!!!

Absolute joke that we are being bossed around by these two majors. They only hold 27% between! Anyone would think they hold 51%!

If the major shareholder disagreement is as simple as... we want an equity raise and we don't want royalty deals in the mix at all then surely the Lower the share price goes the stronger SOLG's argument becomes to go down the royalty route as equity raises at 20p or 21p are far too dilutive.

I know the market gets it wrong constantly and over corrects in both directions but it's almost as if the 'market' is forcing SOLG to go down the royalty route or alternative to equity raise. Sometimes trying to be greedy and push the sp down to get a cheap equity slice can in fact work the wrong way for you. If the sp was bouncing all the way back to 30p levels (remember, black rock were happily buying back their instruments at 33p/35p ranges not long ago), then most would suspect a bid coming when potential the opposite could be tabled, eg a equity raise with the big two but at 35p in exchange for what though!? Mather to retain seat at AGM or BHP to agree to lock in deal until end of 2023?

Some on here seem to forget the history between NCM and BHP. An article from 4 years ago hits it home.

Nothing has changed guys apart from the fact we are now firmly in the end game. NCM wanted us cheap. BHP then came in to scupper NCM's plans and Mather was content with that at the time but knew having two big boys was better than having one.

Yes caught my attention too. Are they trying to paint a picture to their shareholders that they are conserving cash and not splashing it about?? Just ahead of a bid for SOLG?

I do hope some flip floppers from SOLG haven't gone and stuck their hard earned into GGP. The markets focus will now turn to how GGP are going to fund projects going forwards and manage debt. Likely to be ugly over there.

Can someone explain to me why AzerGold would simply just hand over the assets to AAZ for what looks like minimal cash outlay? What's the catch? And who's really behind Azergold as it certainly aint the three stooges they put up on their website!!?

Market hasn't been buying into AAZ's new transformational story for a while now. I do wonder whether the next event is to raise cash via another company with 3 stooges on the website lol! Slowly but surely the company end up in private hands but not until the stockmarket has been tapped for funds first!

Yes, some us around here seem to be keeping reality alive while others seem to be in some kind of fairy land or hell town.

ECO are also traded on TSX have better volume than SOLG, almost rivalled with LSE sometimes, but the difference in the TSX price vs the LSE price can be as much as 20%+ sometimes.

Oh... and for the trader wannabes out there... yes I did buy a bucket load of ECO at 25.5p. And yes, I am planning on handing them back at double that or more. You don't have to 'trade' SOLG, there are bucket loads of stocks out there.

TSX shows what looks like an Auto trade by one individual which amounts to about 60k share volume at average price of 0.31 cents which converted into sterling is about £12k.

I repeat... it's £12,000 or just over. Do you really think LSE market makers are going to drop the UK price inline with TSX based on just £12k traded??

Well, if they do... I'm going to start buying some TSX as the next time I want to top up in London, I'll just sell the TSX stock lol!

If TSX volume was nearer 10 million or so, then I think there's a chance a leak occurred. but £12k traded.... you gotta be kidding me!

Thanks for updates, going to be a very exciting time here when that rig arrives on location. I'm expecting some more positive news across the folio before then so understandable to see the sp strengthening albeit at a shave above the recent placing level. I doubt those taking the equity raise at 30p did so for a 2p again! I think they are after 60p or 90 or 120p+ upon SA success..
