Methinks that history will show that Putin played a blinder. He did nothing that we expected him to. And remember - the Ukraine had circa 500,000 well trained, highly motivated, extremely well protected soldiers waiting for him!

He saved most of his tanks, planes, and best soldiers. As for the phoney attacked on Kyiv? Zelensky had to move 50,000 troops to counter it.
