As unlikely as it might seem today, I can see LC being lauded as mining genius in the months and years ahead. I was a little worried about my investment, but I'm starting to feel that it's in safe hands.

Chris2. I have to admit to being a bit gutted. You see, I intended to top-up my holding to 12M shares at as close to 1.0p as I could get and wasn't able to because the funds I'm waiting on haven't come through. So I, like you, have missed the boat on this one.

The Ethiopian government's telecoms selloff has flopped so it needs to show off an export revenue generating success, and soon. There are a lot of concerns about economic and security stability in the country, but the telecoms failure might be the tipping point leading to Harry's, and our, success.

Buyers need sellers. And if I remember rightly, Boyzer stated that he was keen to sell his 5M shares at the earliest opportunity. Some of us are on a journey, others will jump in/out along the way. If the LTHs are proved right they will multi-bag whilst others feed off of the scraps. Hopefully, all of us will make some money along the way!

I hope the increase is due to, soon to be released, DSO news. However, I was going to treat myself to a bar of Silver from our Royal Mint this afternoon and discovered that the cupboard was bare. I wonder if the Silver Squeeze is about to start biting? Whatever the cause, good luck all.

@Mr.Spacetomato. I'm a crazy conspiracy theorist. I've been wondering if the samples analysed by the university were provided by our business partners in China. In order for that to work, a few people will have to be imprisoned, in China, to make it look like Rainbow have cooked the books. Also, everything is always easy with hindsight but I was expecting 14p, or thereabouts, today. The RNS has done its job and stopped the rout.
I know nothing about anything, but as long as we don't lose our mining licence in Burundi there's a lot of money to be made here.

@NICODEMUS. Owning Rainbow shares is like a walk in the park compared to some of my other holdings. As for ethical investing? I'm reading "The Rare Metals War: the dark side of clean energy and digital technologies." As far as I'm concerned we were greener with coal, oil, and gas. But heyhoe.

Harry gets a lot of stick. This is taking a very long time but Harry gives the impression that he'll get TK over the line by force of will. Nothing is ever guaranteed, but the future, near & far, is looking very bright to me.

@lovelyoy. The problem facing Rainbow is that they appear to be accused of misrepresenting the value of concentrate exported. If this is proven as fact, then the Raindow BoD are crooks who have split the proceeds of the undeclared concentrate with China. Basically the government of Burundi, and more importantly the shareholders of Rainbow, will have been defrauded.

I personally believe any such accusation to be hogwash. But what if the Burundian government takes this the whole nine yards?

That's why we need and RNS. In the short-term it might greatly harm the share price, but formalising any accusations will place the Burundian government under pressure to provide and publish, independently verifiable, facts.

fulmar. The problem, as I see it, is that RBW have to be discredited first in order to justify the government's actions.

Seems to me that the CCP now owns Burundi. So what if they have made the government a deal? Throw out Western companies for the finance, and building, of processing plants on the condition that ALL finished product is sold EXCLUSIVELY to China?

The phoney Rare Earth Wars might be moving into a hot phase. Could be dangerous times for us.
Burundi might require the threat of sanctions and removal from SWIFT.

@Mapp. I believe the global warming "crisis" to be a sham. The hot years are over. The only thing stopping the real cold weather from kicking in is the residual heat in the oceans. It's all to do with Sun sposts, or the lack of them!
That said, I expect Biden, and the swamp dwellers, to make me a millionaire.
