My first thought regarding the RNS was that it was just a space filler, published because the share price had started to fall on the lack of news.

Today I woke up wondering whether the RNS was required as part of the DFC grant application/qualifying procedure?

If it's the latter, then good news on the DFC front might not be too far off.

Legalwolf. The problem with trying to play two parties off against each other, is that there is a remote possibility that both parties will pull out of negotiations just for the hell of it.

Added to this is the "problem" of such an easy mining operation. I have shares in KRS, a company which up until a few months ago has the licence for an open-pit manganese mining operation on Togo. We sort of had the licence confiscated from us as the Togo govt must have clocked-on that open-pit mining doesn't require much technical input from jolly foreigner. Basically, they nationalised the prospect and paid us a finder's fee.

Anyways, my point is that something similar could happen here. I'm not suggesting that we'd lose money, but we might not 10 to 30 bag as we all expect to!

Graham10k. Fortunately, I'm happy to wait for years to come. I remember holding back in about 2019-20 for a whole year at about 3p. No RNSs, nothing, then Bang. Both CHAR and RBW made quantum leaps.
