Did anyone buy shares into the last hour of trading? I did and HL price was just "cheap" enough to tempt me to add a few more. I use the FT portfolio as a guide and believe EVG has the potential to multi bag from here.....but when?

My bad sorry! Should have read down the page a bit. In mitigation I still feel disappointed by the HUR deal but time will tell as to how well CRS did from it. I suspect the Lancaster Field has years of oil left in it.

I took a small loss and sold after watching CRS screw up the HUR deal. Suddenly today the market drops CRS by 28%.....what is going on?

I would value the opinion of anyone here with a knowledge of mining to advise on the RNS but in general some of the drill-holes hit impressive grades of silver, gold, zinc, lead etc. I would like to see confirmation that metal will be poured this year before investing more money.

An impressive company making serious money. The kind of company that could buy up a smaller tech/games business with its lose change? Not impossible but hard to put a probability on them wanting something MERC has a stake in without having done the research or being a sector insider. Anyone have a view?

See FAB which I also hold as a case study in how some (not all) bio techs can turn themselves around.

Not sure on the management but willing to risk a punt.

I added on the basis that someone with money did due diligence on FAB and just bought 7.5% of the entire company in one afternoon. I am happy to follow people with the knowledge and fire power to take that kind of punt.

I foolishly punted a small stake on YGEN in the pandemic at 10p a share and did not stop loss. It is a bad habit, stop loss early.

But I was quite engaged by the science and bought two more chunks when the sp well below 1p. As of today while I am in the red I now hold 1,000,000 shares.

Yes, it might still go bust. Yes, there will be dilution. But fear of missing out pulled me in.

I can afford to lose the whole punt but hope to see it multi bag from here.

MERC only has to have invested in one winner in the Games Space to deliver big profits. That said it is a gamble and a wait and see kind of investment. I am happy to do so at this share price.

Trust.....I no longer trust the management. This a worryingly chicken feed amount of money in Bio Tech terms yet CIZ could not find anyone willing to back them and opted for this route? How long before the next money raising dilution?

Let the froth blow off and wait for firm news before committing imo. Still nursing losses from taking a punt on PAT a few years ago! If there really are millions of ounces of gold under the permit area and if the local government is business friendly then yes this "might" be a good investment but I am happy to wait for solid news and buy at 10p or more.
