I took some profits above 50p as I felt the run up was getting frothy but now watching and waiting to buy. Timing tricky, some selling as the euphoria cools but fresh news probably not far away.

Surprised the market has ignored it, perhaps they are sceptical because of the politics?

The RNS caught my eye but how much metal are they sat on? How deep? How easy to extract? The local politics? Issue of mining permits, the EPA etc.

Interested in hearing your views as I am always looking for the next EEE. Who wins the next US election also a factor. Battery and EV metals probably easier to extract under a green gov.

Yes I would expect some profit taking after today but another order for POS gas tight wellhead equipment will see the sp go higher imo. DYOR.

We get the go ahead from Sweden to mine uranium then this share will multi-bag from here.

If we have to rely on the African resource then progress will be slower and contain more political risk.

360phil I agree that the next 12 months will be critical ref debt repayments.

If the company has a good winter then the debt will be cleared and small investors happily in the blue.

But any further "events" and " financial surprises" will imo see us lose the company to the sharks.

After such a strong run I had expected a bit of profit taking from day or short term traders this morning but so far so good. As I suggested below there is financial data to support the sp going to at least 12p a share based on book value alone. The ESG side of the oil and gas market altogether more substantial but that is speculative and for 2024 and beyond.

Well something is needed to put some fizz back into CIZ!

Fingers crossed for the rest of 2023 I had expected a better sp than this back in January.

Thanks for the response while this technically provides a clear explanation my "fears" about investing in businesses based in Brazil remain but that is my problem. IMO there are high political and cultural risks around SRB but the gold production is good and prospects reasonable.
