Germany has turned its back on years of reliance on Russian energy after it announced a deal with Norwegian state supplier Equinor to provide a third of its industrial gas needs.

Europe’s largest economy will pay €50bn (£43bn) a year to receive 111 terrawatt hours, or about 10bn cubic metres, of natural gas a year from January 1 until 2034.

Germany has been racing to wean itself off its dependence on Russian gas since the start of the war in Ukraine in February 2022.

I am a long term holder because of the grade or ore discovered. Yes there are political risks to mining in Australia but the company has so far navigated the issue of Aboriginal rights with care. Being able to dig iron ore straight out the ground and send it to a blast furnace without needing to process it is a huge plus imo.

Getting a little anxious Santa as there are not many trading days left until Christmas. I did ask nicely for a solid gold RNS about P3 trials & Avion. I have also mostly been a good boy this year.....please find time for a modest RNS.

Not sure, I had taken my eye off this company as I was confident it would be pouring metal this year and not 2024! Wrong on that count and clearly some news leakage and folks shorting or stop lossing. Might buy once an RNS appears admitting to their latest eff up and delay in smelting.

Holding becuase of the momentum and enjoying the ride but not convinced green hydrogen from NH3 is a serious future fuel source. Does not matter imo if one views this merely as an interesting share to trade.
