Was Phil delivering a keynote speech at the Cancer conference in London this morning? Any feedback? Would be interesting to hear what was said.

After Monday’s strong performance and high volume, I went on to ChatGPT for a summary of the pros & cons as to how attractive SCLP would be to any of the majors in terms of enhancing their drug profile and solving the emerging patent cliff. A very calm , reasoned , summary which I thought was very encouraging - with the caveat, though, that SCLP developments continued to hit target ( which the Board seems to be pretty sure of). I will be tempted to sell a few in the 40p-60p range , leaving me with a large holding in for free with a chance of seeing the ultimate exit price in £ rather than pence. Or am I being delusional?

Just been bid 22.055p for 500,000 shares - so don’t take much notice of the indicated prices!. Happy days - with more to come. I may sell a few at 50p but otherwise looking to £s rather than pence at some point in the next 12 months.

Now easy to sell 500,000. Must stop watching - off to do a bit of gardening before it rains.

The tree shake doesn’t seem to have been too successful - easy to sell in reasonable size at 18.4 this morning.

Not surprising to see the share price pausing after the gains of the last few trading sessions but still quite well bid at 16p. Hopefully everyone will resist the temptation to take a quick profit, given the news flow likely over the next few months.

Going to test the 17/18 p levels of 18 months ago . Could move substantially higher on more news of corporate activity - the long held forecast of 31/32p from Panmure could be very conservative. Fear of Missing Out is a strong factor too.

FOMO

Has been easy to sell 500,000 this morning at 12.75p. Market makers look to be struggling to get stock.

Well, ignore my last message. About 5 mins after posting , the market changed - easy to buy & sell and the spread is only about 0.25p - the smallest it has been in years. What does it all mean?

Very easy to sell in size but v difficult to buy. The slightest hint of good news will see these go much higher asFOMO kicks in.

Could sell 500000 @ 13p a few moments ago. Not that I am going to……! Would buy more but am at dangerous levels already.

Very easy to sell in size but can’t get a quote to buy 50,000 ( ie. £6500)!. Clearly MMs fearful of good news breaking…

It was interesting to hear that the Mkt Cap of Merck rose some 15 billion dollars on the news of their success in developing their “personalised” melanoma drug. It seems bizarre that for , say, 1 or 2 billion dollars they could buy Scancell for its “off the shelf” version and thus cover the whole market. As Private Eye would say “Shurely shome mistake”.! It may be wishful thinking on my part, but it makes SCLP look extraordinarily undervalued. Would be interested in others thoughts.

Don’t believe the mid price being shown - can easily sell in quite large size a@13.25. MMS trying to shake out nervous holders

Throughout the day it has been possible to sell in size above the generally quoted price( at one point, I could have sold 500,000 at 13.20p when the advertised bid was 12.75. This illustrates, I think, the difficulty the MMs have in finding stock in size. It would suggest that, given the continuing flow of good news and the possibility of corporate action, that at some point this is going to break upwards quite sharply.Or am I being delusional and engaging in wishful thinking? Time will tell. GLA

Hi violindog. Thanks for the comment. All looks a bit manipulative but probably I am getting obsessed so am going to go for a walk then work on my compost heap for a couple of hours.!

Hi Bobbust. I think there seems to be an attempt to shake out weak holders. The bid price has been at 11.2p all morning supposedly but when I put an order to sell 250,000 or more, I could have sold at 11.85p. Not that I want to sell!
