Looking very interesting. Can sell 750,000 quite easily @ 11.55. Not that I am going to!

I am very overweight in SCLP and this has led to some broken sleep recently! I can’t imagine, though, what it would be like to have a short position - corporate news could lead to an instant doubling/trebling with no chance closing a short position.

But westward Lo! The land is bright.

Anyone else having difficulty signing in? I seem to have entered a Kafka-esque world. Hopefully the presentation will be on the website at some point.

Hi Chillpill. I first bought back in 2013 @27p, failing to sell them at 70p the following day! Added over the years as they have developed the platforms. Forecasts? My best guess would be 30 p in the next year in the absence of a bid but wouldn’t rule out significantly higher on news of partners/collaboration.

Hi Crusty Pete. You are absolutely correct - I was trying to point out the difference in the 2 markets. I would be sorry to see Scancell snapped up by a US company - though getting 5 times my money back would ease the pain! More likely, one might see some modicum of US money flowing in , which could help our current ludicrously low valuation.

Worth having a look at Capricor a biotech company on the Nasdaq. It has just announced good test results on its product countering Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Its share price rose from 5 to 30 dollars on the news valuing it at about £750m enabling them to announce a fundraising of another £100m. Compare this one product company with Scancell with its impressive range of potential products - with a capitalisation of just over £110m. As its fundraising has been well received,suggesting institutions don’t think it’s overvalued, this makes SCLP look ludicrously undervalued! Bear in mind, I am biased with around 4 million shares but it does indicate upside if US investors hear more about Scancell .

Today’s presentation was v good and cheered me considerably. Just as well as I am sitting here with around 3.5 m shares and a 40% loss. Liked the estimates of 32- 36p for the moment but still believe we will see a multiple of that level in the next 3-5 years.

Have just listened to the Ian Ross interview. Could those of you who have a better understanding of technology give us your thoughts. Their genomic database sounds terrifi but what do I know? It strikes me that if Ian Ross is right, there could be a large number of tech/biotech companies who could snap this up for a multiple of the current market cap of under £10m. I have only got a couple of million of these (bought around 0.4p). Tempted to really go for it but would really welcome thoughts of those of you with greater understanding of the technology. Thanks

There seems to be growing momentum regarding a national campaign for screening. Given that the PSA testis not much better than 50:50 in terms of accuracy, one would have thought this would be a great opportunity for our PR people to push for our test to be used - hopefully they are working hard on journalists, Govt agencies etc

Managed to filter him yesterday. The world is suddenly brighter and my levels of annoyance and aggravation have plummeted. Highly recommend the filter button.

Easy to sell 100,000+ this morning - above mid price

Sad news. I always find comfort in the words of the 17th c metaphysical poet John Donne in his poem “Death Be Not Proud”

Defeated by technology! Have tried all sorts of ways to log in but have been unsuccessful. Hope there will be plenty of comment here during/after the event. Very frustrating - but at my advanced age, it’s no surprise.

Emptyend - I agree. But it is interesting to see how easy it is to sell 200,000 at the moment. Not that I am going to!

Eerily quiet after the excitement of the last few days. But easy to sell 100,000 or so over 10p. One suspects there is a lot of manoeuvring going on in the background , trying to quietly get stock without shifting the price. Or am I being too positive about the shares being seriously undervalued.

Have been in this stock for over a decade. Well overweight so logically should top slice on this rise. I like round numbers, though, so bought another 25,000 to take my holdings up to 3,500,000. Clearly I am a huge believer and obsessed with the potential - so don’t trust my short-term judgement. Ha ha.

Easy to sell at around 18.6p in large amounts. At some point the market makers are going to have to bid higher to balance their positions. I suspect that we are in a position where individuals are just sitting enjoying the ride, while institutions can’t get shares in any meaningful size. I am tempted to buy more but am already v overweight!
