I honestly find that hard to believe. The store in the Trafford Centre is huge I'd guess around 5000 sq ft and it's jam packed with new season stock at full price. There's no old stock or sales at all. I recommend that any investors in the Northwest go and take a look themselves. It's the same as the store in Liverpool One shopping centre. I visited there a few weeks ago and that was exactly the same. Fully stocked with new season stock and no sales of old stock. I think they must be keeping the old stock for online sales or outlet shops.
Just visited the store in the Trafford Centre, Manchester and it looked great. Loads of new stock all set out well and plenty of staff keeping the displays tidy and presentable. Best of all there were lots of customers and the tills were ringing! Definitely DID NOT look like a store in distress. Dont believe me? Go and take a visit yourself they're open until 9pm tonight.
Good luck all.

Here you go again with your complete made up garbage. If you're gonna comment can you not just talk facts. If you can't give facts maybe just don't comment because you're just embarrassing yourself now.
"Basically he's had the begging bowl out and potential investors are looking at the leases on shops, shops being empty and brand being in need of a revamp."
Please back this garbage up with facts.
As far as I'm aware the Hilco thing isn't a loan but a revolving credit facility. It's not new and was already in place but it was due to end in April 2024 so it's now being renegotiated. The RNS about it was released because we're in a bid situation and there was press speculation about Hilco and it was affecting the SP (Takeover panel rules). As a revolving credit facility though it's basically like an overdraft to be dipped into when needed. Just like an overdraft it carries a higher interest rate than a loan. If I'm wrong about any of this please correct me. JD knew all about Hilco and the rest of the debt when he announced that he wanted to take the company private weeks ago. Nothing has changed.
