Thank you for clarification on your dispute with Scott. Opinions are exactly what they are. You’re asking a question that I’m pretty confident no-one can answer with clarity. Even those in the know and have the data to hand. Although I’d imagine this will become clearer in the comings weeks. 88 I’m afraid is dead in the water for now and has been a disaster other than for those who have milked it. Also, those who understand what the company is, a pump and dump I’m afraid built on people that do not understand how this all works. Not saying I do but I learnt a lesson last year. I’ve recovered and made money out of them. I’m glad that my belief in pantheon last year is now paying dividends.

Johns question was what do we think it would be if all goes well. I intended to throw out a conservative estimate to which I’m sure will be wrong, of course it will. Anything around that would be truly amazing. I highly doubt I will still be involved along with pantheon when this field is in full flow and years to come the true realisation of the discovery. Let’s be honest £10 per share would be amazing from my entry last year. I suspect we will surpass this by the year end, or very close to it. 200 million barrels from alkaid would be transformational in its own right.

At the end of the day we’ll get some info at the end of the month. If it was proven without doubt we wouldn’t be at this sp, let’s see what happens.

Before this season it was estimated 12 billion oil in place with a very conservative estimate of 10% recoverable. Testing has proven that it is light moveable oil and estimates are more than likely going to be increased. Just based on this let’s say we can recover 15% and we have another 15% oil in place. Without testing some other zones and fully understanding alkaid just yet. 10.5 miles between drills and they believe it’s connected. I’d say I’am probably being conservative to be honest.

If you take 2.4 billion barrels and pantheons estimate of $9 dollars per barrel. Perhaps minus some risk of whatever, a lot higher than we are now

Got to agree with both of you. Normally we’d be seeing a tail off as the winter season is over. We know Jay liked the company (10 figure sum) and didn’t rule them out. Bob has stated his belief in the fact that they have a very big discovery, which will only get bigger. Funding in place for the summer and next winter if required. He also stated it’s important to be able to show you can go it alone, which we can to the extent we can probably get some sort of reserve status on our books. Just a matter of time. Even a billion dollar deal for 30% of the assets would see a dramatic sp increase.

No offence whatsoever. However, it’s still a very significant amount for someone to invest. Admittedly it’s probably an order filled by many trades. What pantheon has done has taken risk away and made this deal before the winter only increase in size, imo.

Being a newcomer to this and only been invested for a few months. This really is fairytale stuff and to many absolutely unbelievable, including me sometimes/most of the time. I think if we hit anywhere near £23 per share I suspect most will be gone beforehand. Leading us back to your post from a little while ago. Explaining how it can be mentally and emotionally tough to hold out for the life changing profits, when seeing your wealth increase dramatically day by day. Especially when a £ per share would change most lives forever. Personally I’m a risk taker especially for a once in a lifetime chance of changing lives forever. We can only appreciate the opportunity that others on the whole are giving us, all the hard work that has gone before us. Exciting journey, let’s hope the destination is in sight.

It’s a free world to a certain extent Nigel. I don’t think anyone would want to stop you posting your opinions if that’s what you truly believe. I haven’t been here long so I won’t speak for anyone else of course. I will say though after my very first post here, which was not directed at you personally, did not warrant your response to me. You have no idea who, what, why or where. I imagine that you’ll get on a lot better in general if you refrain from direct confrontation with people. Not being condescending towards you and I actually felt bad for you when I read your post, “I’ll promise to post less frequently”. My opinion I’m sure means very little but I can move on m8. We all want prd to do well and all that are involved.

This time last year I saw my buy drop from 40p to 22p. I’m a lot happier this year that’s for sure. I’m letting them do their thing and prepared to hold as long as it takes, not long I’d imagine.
