RE: FWIW...old boy's view22 Jun 2022 20:53
The rig is being used in July I believe. So let’s say it takes a few weeks to drill and a few weeks to get it moved and cleaned up. So end of august into September our program starts, let’s say. It’ll take a few weeks I reckon to set up and test mou-1. The results will take a few weeks. The rig once finished at mou-1 will then move onto the other targets. Again a few weeks to move, set up and spud. They stated around 12 days from spud to td. Program starts august/September then 8-12 weeks to drill and test. Within 6 months after that a potential sale. That’s a rough time frame in my mind in terms of what’s possible. Of course the dates will be set out upon receiving an exact date we get the rig etc so my timeframes could and probably are all nonsense. Of course this that and the other could happen. That’s my attempt to articulate what my thoughts are. However, I would say this, I believe this is a one off and will pay out very well. The oil and gas is there, we have all the cards on our side of the table. We still need funding which again I believe will come from a JV. A few hurdles to jump but these hurdles (if we clip them) will only cause a temporary drop in sp that could be weeks or a few months. I don’t believe we will but that is the risk. The risk is that you invest money that you need within the next 9-12months and are forced into selling at a loss. The end result will come I’m fairly certain of that and this sp will start to gather momentum. If a JV lands then all bets are off as to where this settles if it does at all until the drilling testing program has been completed. I hope that helps a little. The truth is no-one knows, but people do know what is there, that is for certain. CPR tells you that not some guy wanting to make money. P.s 60 sea blocks, 30sqms, really. Appraisals will confirm how much we can add to contingent and prove into reserves, very exciting!
