That’s an interesting point colon 👍. Nothing implies and inspires greater confidence than a due diligence process being done in partnership in real time as information emerges. On a small level I have personal experience of this and it’s a fantastic approach where a retained interest is planned 👍

Oak securities gave a sensibly conservative valuation. With much improved info available to partner/ purchaser then any valuation to base a deal on is certainly going to be closer to that than a few pennies .

The nature of the business , the clients , the cross applications and most of all the times will push the valuation metrics beyond the norm imo 👍🔥

“Ireland’s current energy policies are increasingly divorced from engineering realities both in terms of the capabilities of available technologies and in terms of the management and delivery of a complex programme of large energy infrastructure projects,” the report says.

It says that with net zero commitments, Ireland is currently on course to attract substantial fines in future based on its lack of preparation.

However, it also recommends a “substantially larger and longer-lived” liquid natural gas facility than is currently proposed to provide increased diversity of supply and gas storage capacity to 2050.

“In a net-zero energy sector, electricity demand in Ireland could [more than double] to 80 TWh by 2050,” the report says.

”Ireland will not be able to depend on interconnection with other countries to provide this and battery storage will not be viable at the scale required. Small modular nuclear reactors are being developed in many other countries to provide an additional zero-carbon power generation option alongside renewables.

GROK .. .. .. - Graham Harrison, a serial investor in hydrocarbons with experience closing over $22 billion in deals, posted a directive requiring all new North Sea oil and gas platforms to incorporate RSDDH-capable systems by 2027.

- RSDDH stands for Remote Sensing Direct Detection of Hydrocarbons, a satellite-based technology with up to 80% accuracy, as reported in earth observation studies from the German Aerospace Center.

Common opinion/urban myth ? that Friday afternoon RNS is generally bad news. You certainly couldn’t say that of this one. I’ve been in shares where I feel that the release of an RNS has been known in advance by some tho not necessarily the content. I could be wrong. Some trading weakness in this share could be explained by this. I have a very high level of confidence in the management here and progress to come. Monday would be most welcome 😄

Many thanks Keith. Given the quality of those compiling the upcoming CPR it should engender confidence in any bidder. You mention several factors which might enhance any bid. Be interesting to see how the chance of commercial success is weighted. I suspect it’s much higher than present and will remain so even after an upgrade !!. A competitive bidding situation would be very welcome. I’d imagine the better the initial offer then the greater the belief in the prospectivity of the wider acreage. Bigger upfront payment and reduce the retained interest. Possibly the more investors want to say yes the more they should say no 😄
