50p by Christmas? Such humour . . . how about - down on the day!
"I would expect a double digit sp rise on those results" . . . and we get? 0.40 - I suppose you could argue that .40 is double digit!
Possibly not o your best timing! Laced with irony - I added yesterday
Great news indeed - and I really like that tie in with Sheffield Uni. One might hope to hear supportive comments from a government committed to "going green" - however I suspect their "news" will be about Rolls Royce and Small Nuclear Reactors.
Radio 4. Hydrogen Revolution.
It could be the clean fuel of the near future- for homes and for heavy machinery. Lord Bamford, head of JCB, is betting that it will power the next generation of emission-free tractors, diggers and loaders. Tom Heap meets the JCB team and discusses the pros and cons of hydrogen with climate scientist, Tamsin Edwards of King's College, London.
13:45 28th Oct - or anytime via Sounds. Just started listening myself.

Haggis etc. Oh dear . . . . (1) the pollution generated by changing your car - whatever you change it to - far exceeds the pollution generated by keeping the old one - whatever fuel it runs on. (2) You seriously think EVs are cleaner/environmentally better than vehicles running on Hydrogen? Good rant though.
No problems with the lack of sophisticated technology and didn't mind the standard slides - if only there had been less emphasis on their being a technology company and constant reference to digital presence. I think it was just me but my major problem is that I was left with a feeling of "Emperors New Clothes" . Much mention of quality technical solutions - little mention of exactly what these solutions were. I guess I need to do more research so that I know - but wasn't the idea that they told me?
I remain a strong buyer/holder but am I alone in finding the presentation far below the standard I had hoped for? Compare it to, say, ITM. Eqtec see themselves as a digital technology company - watching that online presentation you would never had guessed that/ Logged off. Will fast forward through the recording later. May just be me.
The "history" of the result of good news suggest a fall in the sp tomorrow - surely not this time?
