I see according to google this used to be north of £8 a share back in the day. In laymen’s terms… what happened? Has there been many rights issues/equity raises since?

Surely nobody takes Motley Fool seriously anyway? Would be crazy if people based their investments on anything he had to say. He changes his views more times than I change my boxers.. which… nevermind..

Most of travel currently in the green but we’re slumping under 100. I just don’t understand.

How & why!? Why do we not see these moves the opposite way when the news is going in favour? So frustrating.

Look at the rest of the industry, all seeing very similar (and worse is majority of cases) moves. Bad news may well be on the way regarding travel, but it isn't specific RR bad news. Any further delays, lockdowns etc does not put RR in trouble. They can wait this out.
Its just another wave to ride out until we get to calmer seas.

There is a chance that a new scheme with better terms for creditors is produced, voted for and then accepted by the FCA and court right? This only knocks us back a number of months but they have the cash to cope. Not all doom and gloom IMO. Im continuing to hold.

Probably fending away questions to pay for the honeymoon too. All the best to him and his daughter!

Very positive movement, you'd suspect a leak somewhere.
Like someone else said though, if approved this will seem small compared to what we're looking at over the next 6-12 months.

After such a great update I’d have hope for a slightly better increase than 4%. Echo what others have said about not a huge spike to get the sheep in, but I can’t see this growing by small %’s daily to counter the steady decline over the last few months. I hope I’m wrong mind, I’m currently showing a double digit loss and weighing up if to average down.

I’m not panicking until JP Morgan are panicking. Let’s not forget, they’re also in for quite a stack here. They’re not dumb.

It just doesn’t make sense for them to open it up, knowing people will drop their pants, if they wasn’t atleast 90% confident it’s all going to work out. They wouldn’t cut their nose off to spite their face.
Good opportunity to buy the dip IMO

They must know/think it’s a positive outcome.. open up the market to get the last few cheap shares off some weak hands. Why else would they open it with so much apparent uncertainty?

Apologies for the bump, just haven’t read anything in other threads that really addresses this.

Does anybody have any thoughts here?

Forgive me if this is an obvious one - but IF immediate insolvency isn’t actually a realistic issue like the FCA claimed, is that not something to be positive about, if true? Or does it mean insolvency just comes in a few months instead?
