I am not really sure but this is what I think: HNL will become a new company as a result of reverse takeover with new shares. What do we get for our shares depends on deal with tullow.We are all hoping it to be a good deal as directors have big stakes in the company. We have an mou with Engie to support acquisitions and this takeover came after that mou so hopefully shareholders will be rewarded for their patience with this!!!

Yup RB you are right. I was probably thinking of private company acquiring hnl to convert itself into a PLC. But what does reverse takeover mean in this case? A merger/ acquisition of another plc?

MH Would they be over/ under the current value is the question. Do the existing shares get paid at a set price or we will get added shares in the new company? Confused

Ghostwriter, you think there was a leak that allowed a mini spike today? What effect do you think will this Reverse TO have on share price? I'm relatively new to investing so not sure how this will impact the share price. The only one that i have seen was PMO suspension last year and re-trading at 19p to 300% up in few months. Saying that there was an all time low oil prices at the time affecting other oilies too......

Let's hope it's good though. If it was a long time before they had to announce a news then they could've suspended this long ago. I think it's a done deal but they had to suspend for the smooth takeover without speculation?

RB How do you expect this to happen? Nothing is happening atm or atleast than pi's know of except the long overdue news on due diligence with Engie!! Do you have any time frame in mind when we might hear from the company?
