HL advertised 250 and 260. Quotes recieved: Sell 255.7, Buy 256.1.... just 0.4p. Always check.

If you happened to be into detecting covid, working with genes.... you might be expecting some good results in the next few weeks.
Yeah, I'd be betting for an increase, and looking to do any buying beforehand. If it goes down it wont last long - if it steps up it might never come back down.
I should know this, but do we know when the vote result is, and would we expect any SP step either way?
Fundermentally... It's a dam good buying session starting at 8am ;)
I had none - but I hear it's important to have one and to stick to it. So I made one - based on fixed profit values and not SPs or multiples they are approximately:
2.73
3.7
4.9...
I don't doubt things could go north of there though so I suspect at each point I will just hold, and since my shares are in an ISA and I don't really want to spend ISA allocated funds, it does raise the question... Why have a strategy, what is yours, and how did you make it.
e.g. Hargreaves Lansdown. Transactions over the phone.
Absolutely great result for babies and their families - feeling great about gdr all day and regret how many have been knocking such a great British team who are making such a fantastic difference.
And if we must mention money, can we at least remember how much society would rightfully spend caring for and aiding a deaf person for a full life - that money can now go somewhere else in the health and care sector. It's all together brilliant and I couldn't give a cr ap about the SP today, or the clowns (both will be in on their way to their rightful place by April)
It's enough for me Albert! And you've outdone yourself by pointing out the institutions have a path of ensuring near price parity between the exchanges.
GeneDrive. GDR Seems to be in a wonderful position this month.
I wonder if this is a similar enough question to slide into this thread. There is sometimes a price difference between London Frankfurt and the US. When the sad day comes and we want to part with our ARB shares, say in 2035 or something.... Do we have to sell them on the same exchange we bought them on? If not how do you go about choosing through e.g. HL?
I guess an extension of that is, presumably people trade on the price differences if that is possible.... how does that work?
Appologies if those are novice question for those of you that have been around the industry a while - I suspect the answers will interest many here in the coming months.
@Phoebus - I've asked once. Here's the response:
"I have spoken with the relevant team to request if PlantX Life Inc shares can be added to our platform, this unfortunately is not possible as PlantX Life Inc shares are listed on the over the counter market (OTC). We are not able to add any securities which are listed on the over the counter market due to the difficulties in trading the shares and the way that they settle."
They might have done me a favour - interesting project / company though.
Google it; it's a thing.
Their supply really isn't very impressive.
A few million to start with. Deal is 100 Million by end of June (might struggle with that as it was approved later than expected - they didn't produce much at risk).
And it's only 66% efficacious.
Not much will stop GDR to be honest.
Over the Stocktwits place, they've been getting very annoyed on SOS about the zero dollar target put out over the weekend - so they want a short squeeze GME madness episode..... I'm not sure I'd look at SOS for any market direction- could just be the crowd on short term high.
