Mikie - agreed with you. And surprisd there isn't more buying given the copper assets must be worth a decent amount in a copper constrained world.

Guess what grates me is having listened to so many Roast etc presentations about how wonderful the platinum/chrome assets are, we sell just as platinum breaks out.

Given no other bidders have come in then lets hope Leon makes a better job of creating shareholder value.

It seems to me they already have enough support give or take a few percent. Like others, would have preferred more cash upfront. And to be honest, I would rather wait another year. Probably abstain.

With the increasing platinum prices I find it hard to understand the point of selling the plat business. Yes, it will slow down copper production. But the Zambian mining issues will take time to sort out anyway and the platinum income is guarranteed in the short term. Leon says we don't need much money for the copper business anyway and platinum is on the up. Personally I can see $2000 an ounce.

Wouldn't the deal more likely to be for Luansobe. GLR still part of the Birdie stable of Companies but we know the Luansobe ore has previously been tested at Roan.

Namibia needs ore in country for processing and then will be exported via Walvis Bay. But I admit all this comes via Sunday Roast and as yet nothing has gone according to plan. I was having a clear out of my old paperwork. My first buys were around 130p !. The 1p warrants sound about right .......

To me, Hope and Gorob is a free ride. Which given the problems at major mines in Chile, Kamoa in the Congo, pollution issues in Zambia and obviously Panama makes a simple open pit mine in Namibia a good bet. No pesky locals and plenty of exploration potential. I am expecting higher copper prices to prevail and feel patience will reward us.

There are clear timelines at Blackstone for the next 18 months and I think it looks very promising. I am not a fan of the P.I but they seem to have done their homework and have local support. This project alone adds a lot of value to BZT.

History agrees with you. But I was under the impression that the nomads have start to insist on higher standards and an end to the bs. i hope so anyway. The pollution issues in Zambia can't be helping.

Given that listening to Colin, his sidekicks at CL, Roast and their sidekicks, and the posters on here have all been absolutely useless with their timelines and predictions - all I can say is hopefully the rising copper price will lift all boats. One day ........

I feel the same applies here. The days of just spouting out nonsense aka XTR and Bushranger are now passed. IMHO I feel the nomads want proper facts and figures and not hope and hype. Which takes much longer and requires patience.
