I would table Vote of No confidence on this BOD, Clearly same regeme,different in name only!! Mr Keegan perfect for this Scam,also has great Argentinian links to fudeg the valuations and Invoices. I bet our inflows are considerably better than what we are led to believe. Deals obviously being done behind our backs,big brown envelopes passing to and throw on a regular basis,that how the crooked black market works. I have Absolutely no faith in this corrupt gang,.

Totally agree with you. The BOD and their cohorts are so pleased with the current SP,it is making their grand plan easier to apply. The only positive I take from this is the shares we do hold are worth multiples this "phoney" market price". It's clearly evident Mark Keegan was strategically placed to facilitate this blatent " give away" of exceptional assets. They gave PEarl IPC for peanuts!! All stinks,

Thanks for clarification Seems WH Ireland were not happy with the Draft RNS Mr Keegan had ready to give to us. Clearly something going on here,I also think those asset impairments need looking at again,we are being fed rubbish IMO. Someone is desperate to take control of this company,the OO enables this in part but the Sterling holding will be bought very very cheap,and IMO Mr Keegan is part of this plan Desperate why,because the Assets are with a hell of a lot of money!!!

To be quite honest I don't beleive any information in the RNSs,the comapny are purposely painting a very bleak picture here. Why,so they and I mean MK and even PE and a few other croonies are going to try and take our assets for themselves. This bloody OO is a means to an ends for them,they already have croonies waiting to pick up these shares cheap and then they will get that 53% block for peanuts!! It's all corruption,and it stinks. Serious fraud office,should be the first port of call. MK and PE watch out!!.

Hi,Fly540 Angola has been such a waste of money,they will never make a profit there after the copius amounts spent.Heard last week still only 1 aircraft flying the Soyo route.IMO shareholders are being shafted to the benefit of the Lonrho Execs! Interestlingly Leng/White bought into rubicon,then the sp the next day went up 500%,they made their money again, isnt it about time they gave something back to the mugs who keep paying their excessive salaries and perks. I for one would not touch them with a barge pole. Having experienced the way they operate my conclusion is that they are only interested in themselves and not the shareholders and they continue to report by way of RNSs inacurate information to bolster their positions. Like to confirm that Fly540 fly one route Cabinda to Soyo,this is a ten minute flight. So what about the RNS that state "flying throughout Angola," and recently saying 80% passenger loads. In my opinion Investors are being taken for a ride! http://www.pprune.org/african-aviation/472330-fly540-angola.html The FSA and regulatory body should now fully investigate Lonrho, Shouldnt pay too much attention to the "easy jet " factor either," and the Rubi association,it was all hype again,Lonrho directors again "feathering their nests" once again, and yes the directors bought into Rubi just before the announcemnt and the next day share price increased 400%, Only ones laughing all the way to the bank are??guess what not the small investors, This is absolutely a scandal. Be very cautious guys.

Having just read the preceeding posts it seem very apparent to me that Lonrho state to their shareholders "what sounds good" Fly540 Angola It took over 2 years to obtain an AOC "air operating certificate in Angola" , They recruited several Air Crew on full salary!! at least 18months before they actually operated,including myself They "bought 7 brand new ATR72-500 from ATC Toulouse!! well they paid deposits which they lost!!! They paid at least 30 Full time staff in Luanda,Bought brand new 4 wheel drives,2 exp offices,Rented the most expensive Appartments remember $25k/month each.the list goes on and on!! I read an RNS stating they were flying all over Luanda!! incorrect,only 1 route Cabinda to Soyo. Lonrho have been taken for fools by Fly540,they are perpetuating a bottomless pit,have basically issued open cheques!!. Now the hotels it looks like a similar pattern to me. Guys there is something very peculiar going on here,remember I got mixed up with the 540 Saga,and paid a very heavy price. I was a qualified airline pilot,fully fit and competent.I fell ill in Cabinda,was denied the medivac,passport retained,managed to get A DR to force the company to let me leave.On my return to the UK late last year,I was taken to intensive care in Heartlands hospital Birmingham where I was extremely ill,trop diseases,spent Xmas/New Year.and my birthday in isolation and lost 15kgin weight,I wasvery close to death. It has taken several months to recover and have not flown since. The company retained my salary and 2 months notice, I thought you should all know what happened maybe it will enlighten you all to the kind of operation this company operates. Best Wishes,

I can give you first hand knowledge of exactly whats happening with this so called airline,reason,I was employed by them for over 1 year,based in Cabinda(Angola) Basically I was recruited to fly the ATR42,never had an interview or simulator test,just sent them my cv and bingo got the contract,this was Sept 2009.They then started to pay a very significant salary immediately direct from LONRHO shipping,this is before I even met anyone from the company,not only myself but at least another 15 pilots were hired this way!!! which is totally unheard of.I expected to travel to Angola immediately but months went by,got PAID every month,full salary then in June 2010 they called me and the other guys,I had already been paid 9 months salary!!,Arrived in Luanda,next day travelled to Cabinda where the other pilots were based.Expecting to fly/train/ within a few days,no NO flying just waiting around! stayed in luxury accommodation/maid/chefs had chauff driven(brand new vehicles) this was costing LOnrho an arm and a leg!! So15 pilots on full salary,huge accommodation costs,atleast 30 office staff!! YES 30,2 OFFICES,brand new 4 wheel drives,when I say office staff I mean they were all on full salaries,but they were just sitting around,using internet,facebook etc,allday long.Then there were 2 guys one the gen manager,another Dir of operations,they lived in Luanda in an exculsive park,the rent alone was 25000 dollars per month,yes 25k!!! remember Luanda is the most expensive place on earth to live,they were both on high salaries also. What I found out was the General Manager was indirect contact with Lonrho,London,he held the purse strings in Luanda for the whole operation,every expense had to go through him,we thought it very odd at the time. Ican go on and on,but we all thought it was a very unusual business set up,we were all getting paid to do no work,we never flew at all,in 1 year working for them I flew 1 hour on the ATR,for training,yes 1 hour. I managed to leave the company after I fell ill in Cabinda,a year ago,I was extremely ill with Malaria and another disease.The company tried to prevent me leaving the country by withholding my passport!! for over 2 months,. Guys/investors an aweful lot of money has been wasted in Anglola,Lonrho state they are flying all over Angola,FACT they are not,I am in regular contact with friends I met there,they have one old ATR72 flying Cabinda-Soyo,fact, There is so much more I can say about this,but Fly540 Angola is a very unusual business model in my experience,its a way off losing vaste sums of money.I for one would never invest in LONR, If anyone would like any more information please let me know.
