Nice info for someone like myself who is unfamiliar with caissons etc, It’s a shame the caisson wasn’t removed some time after it became redundant in 2009, instead of the immediate need to now remove it. Would of been nice to read how long the process took in the case studies shown, just as a guide, appreciate every situation is different.

Upomega - just read philjayjones earlier posts, pretty much sums up the production aims of an oil company, there definitely not going to only produce 50% of previous daily production through choice.

Bruce platform out of action for approximately 2 months, no production from the BKR fields during this time.

Financial impact mitigated through net cash flow sharing arrangements.

Highlights the need to have another higher producing asset/acquisition.

I would hope they’re being more proactive, it’s no good just pointing shareholders to a presentation that contains all in the figures, you (I) want to see them in black & white straight away in the RNS for them to have any effect, I personally then look & read the presentation later on when I have time, I hope they continue in this way.

Last year the update was by way of a new presentation on their website, it was on 16th Jan & RNS’d as an Analysts Site visit to the new HQ in Aberdeen, I remember emailing the bod asking why no figures in the RNS & being promptly pointed in the direction of the presentation!
