I don't understand your point, I said I'm a bystander who's interested to see If QBT achieve success, I didn't say I'd invested in the company. I can watch a football game without being in one of the teams, and shout my opinion either way from the terraces.

I wouldn't say I'm focused on QBT, I originally posted on here because I was looking for opinions on Bitcoin and Crypto in general, and this board was popular. I am now interested in QBT, as a bystander, since I want to see if they're successful in achieving their goals. I have no idea if QBT will be successful, It could go either way, but I have an opinion on their odds of success.

I don't understand why you guys get so emotional about me expressing an opinion on here. I used to be a bit like you but I've realised, anything said on here is irrelevant to the success or failure of the companies I'm invested in. If you really do believe in QBT, as much as you claim to, any posts you perceive as negative should be water off a ducks back. Nothing I say, you say, or anyone else says will decide the future of QBT, in the end it will come down to the company's business model, and the success of its products in generating revenue. In the end, if you understand the company and have confidence in QBT's management, no opinions expressed by me should matter.

wadogara, I post when and where I choose. As far as Bitcoin and many of the other Altcoins, yes I do believe they will end in tears; The only one I'm not sure of is Ethereum, as It seems popular with developers and may have some sort of future, but I wouldn't go near anything Crypto.

Nope, it's impossible to predict price action with something as manipulated as Crypto, but it stands to reason that anything pushing the FED to hike interest rates higher, is ultimately bad for risk on assets within the NASDAQ and Crypto related "assets".

The bitcoin price jumped between 11:30 and 12:30, probably a bet on the retail figure coming in low. There's a good chance the Bitcoin price will drop from here, since risk on assets don't like conditions encouraging the FED to raise interest rates higher

US retail just came in much better than expected, which gives a green light for the FED to increase rates higher; Todays US retail figure is bad for the Bitcoin price.

The Barclays results give some hints on Lloyds results:

The accounts are difficult to interpret, it's difficult to read how much they spent on R&D in 2021; I found a figure, under the heading "Enhanced R&D expenditure", for €368,000 but I'm not sure what that includes.

That's true, but the share options could potentially reap large rewards down the road, time will tell.

Just whining from a vested interest player who'd like to see OFCOM completely nobble BT/Openreach, for the benefit of his company. BT's a publicly traded UK listed company with many retail investors affected by the success or failure of the company. I have no sympathy for private investment vehicles requiring strict regulation of incumbents to succeed, if they can't achieve their goals through investment alone then they shouldn't invest.
