"Why did you post you had £1m invested in Lloyds then"
It isn't my fault if you guys are either incapable of remembering things correctly, or read what you want to read. I have never claimed to have purchased a Million shares, or spent £1 Million on a purchase. I've just had a quick look back to find my posts and this is what was actually said:
Here is the series of posts that you guys have misinterpreted, although reading back through them I have no idea how you could mistake the content or theme of the posts.
First post from me:

"I’m actually embarrassed for you most of the time"
Bitcoinbull, don't be embarrassed for me, as I see myself as far more grounded in reality than you. As an example, today I bought another £20,000 worth of Lloyds shares at 49.4p, taking our total Lloyds holding up to 443,260 shares. On Thursday Lloyds goes ex dividend entitling us to a 1.6p per share payout of £7,092 in May, and that's just one Lloyds dividend payout. Over the next year we'll pull around £23,000 in dividends across all our holdings, I don't worry about our Lloyds investment, it's a gift that keeps on giving.
"Pmsl. Dear oh dear flakey, that is hilarious, people have bank accounts seized and frozen and some people have been made to hand their money over, so yes a banking system is much safer, not."
Clearly Jambone I take a different view to you, I'm doing very well out of my bank investments, so it's obvious I don't buy into the doomsday scenario painted by the Crypto lunatics."
Mr Hanji then posted:

I'm not being funny but that is not a good investment.. your asking an investor to fork out almost a £1,000,000 to buy 500,000 shares for £8k.. I've rounded up the numbers for ease of calculation. In percentage terms that's only.. 0.8% return.. if you trust the banks so much you would have got a better return.. top savings account are paying up to 4.6% lol."
I then corrected Mr Hanji's example:
""I'm not being funny but that is not a good investment.. your asking an investor to fork out almost a £1,000,000 to buy 500,000 shares for £8k.. I've rounded up the numbers for ease of calculation."
You've lost me. I'm actually showing a capital gain on my Lloyds shares, so my overall average price per share is below 49.4p.
Assuming I bought £1,000,000 worth of Lloyds shares now at 49.4p.
£1,000,000 - 0.5%(stamp duty) - £10 (dealing charge) - £1 (PTM Levy)
= £994,990 to purchase shares
£994,990/0.494 = 2,014,149 shares
For the May Dividend of 1.6p
2,014,149 x 0.016 = £32,226
If you look at last years full year dividend of 2.4p:
2,014,149 x 0.024p = £48,339
