Just to add; The current spread on QBT's stock is 0.1p, or 0.05p either side of the 1.55p share price but that isn't what I was talking about. It was just using a simple example to demonstrate how much profit you'd have to make to breakeven in relation to trading fees.

I was talking in terms of breakeven with a trading fee of £10. Using the £5000 example:

Lets say you buy £5000 worth of QBT stock with a £10 trading fee, so you've spent £5,010 buying your stock. When you come to sell that same stock it will cost you another £10 trading fee, so your total trading fee's across both trades add up to £20, or 0.4% of £5000, so you'd need to sell for £5,020 to break even.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't invest for under £1000 a trade. My trading commission is around £10, so that's 1% of £1000. You don't have to worry about 0.5% stamp duty as its aim and there's no £1 PTM Levy as it's well below £10,000. You need a 2% increase in the stock price to break even. The more you bet the less increase in price you need to break even, for £5000 you'd only need an upswing of 0.4% to break even when you sell.

The price drops are on low volumes, with big buys from Drahi showing up dramatically on the daily and weekly volume charts. Under normal circumstances you'd expect big players wading in would send the share price up dramatically and I don't consider BT's, Vodafone's, or any of the other big Telecom players prices as reflective of the value locked up in their assets; I can only assume that the market is keeping the prices down so they can mop up over time. If Telecoms are so bad, why are big players building large holdings in the stocks and Private equity investing massively into Fibre and Tower infrastructure? Clearly there's a contradiction between the market valuations placed on the Publicly traded Telecom stocks and the amount of money being funneled into related infrastructure on the side.

I'll just keep topping up as and when funds are available.

I agree. I'm not a fan of buybacks over dividends, but in Vodafone's case it's crying out for it.

At the next difficulty change the Difficulty Level is due to increase again, time will tell if QBT can persuade any of them to allow QBT to climb aboard.

Because it's a strong bank with very good financials. It currently has a market cap around 6, which is historically very low and it doesn't have a investment bank making risky bets. The whole reason I chose to invest in Lloyds, is because it's domestically focused bank with very good Loan to Value Ratios. I view it as avery safe investment, irrespective of some vested interest market hype suggesting Banks are risky. Lloyds is no Signature, SVB, or FRB, so I just ignore the noise.

Whether you're right or wrong is irrelevant, since there's no going back. I disagree with your opinion, but what I think is irrelevant too, the only thing that matters is the UK moving to a self sufficiency model and not worrying about what the rest of the World does. For a country to be productive, they have to produce more than they need and sell the surplus, the UK's future is in its own hands irrespective of Brexit or anything else.
